- This traditional kaiseki course cuisine restaurant is situated along Prefectural Route 782 next to the Butsushinji Temple. Dedicated to the concept of local production for local consumption, the restaurant makes use of choice ingredients sourced from within the prefecture. One of the restaurant's most distinctive characteristics is its emphasis not just on the cuisine but also on ensuring that the atmosphere of the entire establishment is uniform and harmonious, right down to the tableware and ikebana flower arrangements. Customers can choose between a lunch course and a fusion kaiseki course based on their budget - the latter course is available to parties of two or more people and must be reserved in advance. The restaurant's daggertooth pike conger shabushabu hotpot is only available in summer, while the wild Japanese amberjack shabushabu hotpot is only available in winter. The restaurant also sells its own homemade vinegar and soy sauce. Lastly, the restaurant has a private dining area which can accommodate up to 14 people.

Shiga Areas
Visitors to Shiga prefecture are almost always hopping east across the prefectural border from Kyoto, and they are almost certainly Lake Biwa-bound. Covering an area of 670 square kilometers, Lake Biwa makes up the bulk of Shiga prefecture, with beautiful lakeside paths that offer myriad walking and cycling opportunities, connecting a string of museums, shrines, and picturesque views that finally lead you to Hikone Castle on the eastern side of the lake.
