- "Located in Fujikata, Tsu City, approximately 17kilometersof this famous coast and beaches with its white sand and green pine trees have been designated as a prefectural national park. The wide beach and calm waves of the sea are ideal for swimming and beach volleyball. It is also a clamming spot, where visitors can gather shellfish such as razor clams and asari clams. Visitors can also experience using a beach seine or the ""set net"", whereby fish are caught in a net set along the mud flats when the tide goes out. There are also several rest areas, so families can enjoy the beach throughout the whole day."

- Mie Pref. Shimashi Agochoushijima
- This beach is accessible by taking the Shima Nokyo-mae bound bus service from UgataStation on the Kintetsu Shima Line. It is located at the end of the 20-minute bus ride and a further five-minute walk from the final bus stop. Spider Lily blooms along this beautiful white sand beach, and on a clear day, the blue sky continues all the way to the far horizon. It is very popular for surfing, but the scenery can also be enjoyed on a drive along the edge of the beach. Although there are parking lots, toilets and sidewalks available, the beach is not a designated place for swimming, so visitors must be aware of their own responsibility in that regard.

- Azuri Beach

- Mie Pref. Shimashi Shimachoukoshika
- This coast extends for approximately 200 meters along the Shima Peninsula. It is a wide, shallow beach with gentle waves and is very popular for swimming in the summer. Because it is west-facing, in the evenings, especially in the summer, the whole coast is painted red with the sunset, making it an extremely scenic spot. It is also famous as a filming location, where movies such as Yellow Elephant were filmed. In the middle of the beach, there is a small island called Suzume Island, which also gives the beach the name Monster Beach, because at certain times of the day, the island appears as the head of a monster that bites into the sinking sun.

The pebbles polished by the turbulent waves of the Kumano Sea are called Mihama Pebbles and are used as accessories and the like. The beach is also well-known as a place where Loggerhead sea turtles come up onto land. Mie Areas
Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
