    This venerable udon noodles shop uses a dashi broth recipe over 140 years old in its delectable kamaage dipping udon. They also use locally harvested hamaguri clams in their popular hamaguri kamaage udon, and for grilled hamaguri. The shop's interior drives home the long history with a traditional Japanese atmosphere, perfect for slow, relaxed meals. They have table seating, and small and large tatami-mat room seating.

    地蛤が名産の店で、名産の蛤うどん御膳を頂きました。味は上品ですが、店の門構えとは異なり、従業員の方々はフレンドリー。土地柄なんでしょうかね-？

    Enjoy Noasobidana’s great selection of baskets and boxes stuffed with seasonal foods as well as sweets and confections. This restaurant and tea-house is situated in a building with plenty of windows allowing you to enjoy the changing of the seasons and nature as though you were outdoors. Of course they serve meals but also, what better way to enjoy yourself than to relax and take in the magnificent scenery with some Japanese confectionary treats and matcha green tea. From the Ise West Interchange on the Ise Expressway it’s about a three-minute drive.

    Ebiya is a Japanese restaurant in Oharai Town near the Naiku shrine of Ise-jingu Shrine in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. It is a long-established restaurant which has kept the traditional flavors of the region alive for over 100 years since it was founded in 1912. Ebiya offers a whole range of local cuisine dishes lavishly made with natural ingredients found in the hills and seas of Mie. Here you can try a variety of Japanese dishes such as Matsusaka beef sukiyaki, tekone-zushi (locally caught raw fish placed on top of a bowl of cooked rice), and abalone sashimi. Their new specialty of ochazuke, a simple dish of cooked rice covered with Ise dashi (stock), is also very popular.

    The restaurant is in Okage yokocho, close to the Naiku shrine, they have english menu. Food was great and service so so, took a bit until they came to pick my order. I ordered special set with Ise...

    This local-dish restaurant is located in Oharai Town, Ise City, Mie Prefecture, near Naiku, Ise-jingu Shrine. The menu includes items such as “tekone-zushi,” which features heaps of pickled bonito, chewy and soft “Ise udon,” the slightly salty “sanma-zushi,” and other well-known Ise delicacies. The grilled turban shell snails and purplish Washington clams are popular as well, as is the “unimeshi” (sea egg) dish. There is tatami seating in addition to table seating, and families with children can enjoy a relaxing time here as well.

    いつ来ても観光客でいっぱいですが店内で食べるお店ならここをオススメします。手こね寿司も伊勢うどんも松阪牛の肉まぶしも美味しい。

    伊勢神宮内宮の表参道（おはらい町）の周辺に3店舗あり、そのうち「おかげ横丁」にある店舗を利用した。 日曜の昼過ぎ（14時ころ）の来店だったこともあり、店内はすでに満席となっていたため入口で名前を記入し15分ほどおかげ横丁を散策したあとようやく入店できた。 伊勢名物である「伊勢うどん」と「手こね寿司」が両方ともあるということで、セットで注文しどちらも美味しくいただけることができてよかった。

    This restaurant is 30 minutes by car from Suzuka Interchange on the Higashi-Meihan Expressway, or 25 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Ise-Wakamatsu Station. They're on the coastal Shiohama-Kaido Road, and they'll pick you up and drop you off even if you're alone. They specialize in cuisine featuring katsu-anago, or fresh conger eel, a local favorite. Their menu has all sorts of dishes made with conger eel, including raw sashimi, and they serve both a la carte and course meals. Their Anago Ten-Don rice bowl with two-pieces of conger tempura so big that they stick out of the bowl is popular. Their full course lets you enjoy conger eel in multiple ways, including as tempura and sushi, thin-sliced with a mild flavor like puffer fish, and sliced thick and broiled kabayaki style.

    This udon noodle shop is located near Futami Okitama-jinja Shrine. They serve Ise udon known as thick and soft noodles, and more. Their popular Ise udon consists of chewy noodles in a kombu seaweed and shaved bonito fish broth. They offer it as a set with a small seafood-topped rice bowl. They also have baked shellfish. Their refreshing Iwato Salt Soft Serve Ice Cream is made with Iwato salt produced from the sea off Futami. It has appeared in magazines and is great for eating while walking around. They sell Ise udon and Iwato salt as souvenirs, too.

    伊勢うどんとてこね寿司のセットと頂きました。観光地価格とも思われず，価格，味は満足のゆくものでした。 昼時でもあり2人で入店したため，案内されたのが”衝立の向こうの席”でした。この席は薄い壁板の向こうが”お手洗い”らしく，食事中ひっきりなしにロールペーパーを回す音が絶えず続いて，せっかくの美味しい食事が台無しの気持になりました。この席に客を案内するのであれば，遮音対策を講じるべきです。

Operated by a descendent of Fujihayashi Nagatonokami, one of the three great masters of Iga-ryu Ninjutsu, the restaurant itself is a ninja house filled with tricks, and serves modern arrangements of recipes from ancient ninja texts. It is said that ninjas ate balanced, healthy meals in order to avoid putting on excess weight. The restaurant's menu includes recreations of period ninja foods such as the filling Ninja no Manpuku-zen meal; the lunchtime Ninja no Hirumeshi; and Hyorougan, portable ""energy food pills"" once carried by ninja. Eat here and you'll feel like a ninja yourself! As the restaurant is reservation-only, you must call to make a reservation before coming."

    田舎道にあり、近くにはモクモクファームがあり割と分かりやすい場所にありました。 料理は田舎ながら本格的。 巻物のお品書きはイラストも描いてあり見ても楽しい。 蓋を開けたら、ドライアイスの煙りが出たり 工夫も色々。 忍者屋敷の様な仕掛けもあり小さい子供は大喜び。 連れて頂いたので、お料理のお値段は判りませんが 質・量・視覚 共に大満足な内容でした。

    This ramen restaurant stands on National Route 163 in Marunouchi, Tsu City. The restaurant serves ramen with noodles made by hand and which are allowed to sit in order to give them body. The restaurant's large Tsu gyoza, a famous local Tsu City variety of deep-fried gyoza pot stickers, are also popular. They are notable for the fact that broth is mixed in with the gyoza filling.

    津餃子が有名なお店のようです。しかしながら餃子は頂かず、醤油味のチャーシュー麺大盛りを頂きました。自家製麺で背脂がのっていて美味しかったです。

    偶然立ち寄ったお店でしたが、大当たり。 日本酒のメニューが豊富で、店長さんに好みを伝えるとピッタリのものを選んでくださいました。料理も絶品。突き出しもオシャレ。熊野地鶏がとても美味しかったです。 お店の雰囲気も落ち着いていて、また行きたいと思いました。

    ランチで訪問しました。 靴を履いたままが楽だったので、カウンター席で千円でのお手頃ランチをいただきました。私が学生だった頃と違い改装されたお店はとても雰囲気が良いです。 駐車場が少ないのが残念かなと。

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
