- This melon farm is situated on Prefectural Route 730 in Nanbari, Hamajima-cho, Shima City. The farm grew the Nanbari melons, a local specialty product, which were served at the 42nd G7 Summit in 2016. In the farm's cafe, you can enjoy fresh-cut melon and sweets made with melons.

TVの番組で紹介されたのをメモしてあったので、今回賢島に泊まりに行く際に立ち寄って見た。県道から逸れると道はビニールハウスのところで無くなる。裏に回るとウッディでモダンな喫茶店風の建物が。完熟メロンのカットをいただく。あまりに美味いので、お代わりしてしまった。

- Mie Matsusaka-shi Higashikurobecho Tenjin 1
- This strawberry picking farm is located on the grounds of JA Matsusaka Kissuru Kurobe in Higashikurobe-cho, Matsusaka City. Open from early January through mid-May, here you can have fun picking strawberries in a greenhouse which incorporates universal design principles. Note that strawberry picking is reservation-only. The farm also sells strawberry gift packs and is adjoined by a farmers' market and dining hall.

Mie Areas
Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
