TVの番組で紹介されたのをメモしてあったので、今回賢島に泊まりに行く際に立ち寄って見た。県道から逸れると道はビニールハウスのところで無くなる。裏に回るとウッディでモダンな喫茶店風の建物が。完熟メロンのカットをいただく。あまりに美味いので、お代わりしてしまった。

This strawberry picking farm is located on the grounds of JA Matsusaka Kissuru Kurobe in Higashikurobe-cho, Matsusaka City. Open from early January through mid-May, here you can have fun picking strawberries in a greenhouse which incorporates universal design principles. Note that strawberry picking is reservation-only. The farm also sells strawberry gift packs and is adjoined by a farmers' market and dining hall.

This ekiben (station bento lunch) shop stands on Prefectural Route 20 in Hino-machi, Matsusaka City. Opened in 1895, the longstanding establishment continues to make its bentos by hand according to traditional methods using Matsusaka beef and Japanese black beef. Bentos you can buy here include the Ganso Tokusen Gyuniku Bento, a longtime favorite made with Japanese black beef grilled amiyaki style to ensure it tastes just as delicious cold as hot; and the Takumi no Waza Matsusaka-gyu Monogatari (reservation recommended), a self-heating Matsusaka beef sukiyaki bento.

老舗の駅弁屋です。モー太郎弁当が一番有名ですが、開けたらメロディーが鳴る弁当はこのモー太郎弁当が初めてです。松阪牛がびっしりと入った弁当は、もちろん美味しかったです！電話注文をして受け取りましたが、社長さんが気さくに対応してくれました。松阪の印象がとても良くなりました！

Mie Areas

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
