    This natural pool is about a 14-minute walk from the Tadotaisha-mae bus stop in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. Operating roughly from around mid-July until the end of August, it uses water flowing from the Tado Gorge, remaining clean without calcium hypochlorite or disinfectant. The water is usually a refreshing 20 degrees Celsius or less, and when you get tired you can relax in the free rest area. The shop sells food and drink and also rents lockers and flotation devices. They hold events sometimes, too.

  • Ise Municipal Yasuragi Park Swimming Pool

    The Ise Municipal Yasuragi Park Swimming Pool is located southwest of the Ise Jingu Outer Shrine in the city of Ise. The three pools include a 25-meter swimming pool, a flowing water pool, and a children's pool with a small waterslide. It is open for only two months each year, from early July to the end of August. The admission fee entitles guests to stay for three hours, and those who stay longer are charged extra by the hour. While the pools are open, there are a variety of events for children. The children's pool is open for water play, even to children in diapers, so these pools are a lively spot for family groups during the summer vacation period.

    This pool is located on the grounds of Dolphin Island, a leisure facility which makes use of an uninhabited island in Ohama-cho, Toba City. Bottlenose dolphin shows are held here several times a day, and visitors can watch as they jump and perform a variety of other dazzling tricks.

    This outdoor water park is located on the grounds of the Misugi Resort hotel in Yachi, Misugi-cho, Tsu City. In most years, the water park is open from mid-July to the end of August. Customers can enjoy a variety of facilities, including Black Magic, a waterslide which drops you down a pitch-black tube from three stories above ground; a variety of other waterslides; a lazy river; and a kiddy pool.

    This outdoor water park adjoins Miya River Watarai Park in Tanahashi, Watarai Town, Watarai County, Mie Prefecture. One of the largest in the area, it is open each year in summer. The water park has a six lane 25-meter pool, a lazy river, a mountain stream pool, a kiddy pool, and two waterslides.

    This summer-only outdoor water park is located on the grounds of the Motopia amusement park area of the Suzuka Circuit racing resort situated on Prefectural Route 643 in Inou-cho, Suzuka City. There are a variety of pool and water slide facilities for various age groups to enjoy, including Adventure Mountain, a playground-style park built around a central volcano-shaped fountain; and Adventure Wave, a combined wave pool and obstacle course. There are also box- and tent-style rest spaces available for rent.

    国道沿いにある温水プールです。無料の駐車場あります。歩行コースと遊泳コースが分かれてあります。普通の２５ｍ温水プールです。平日に行ったのですがそんなに混んでなくゆっくり泳げました。

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
