    Yamada Gohei Mochi shop, located in the castle town around Inuyama Castle, is famous for its rich, handmade sauce. They roast the mochi skewers for about three minutes on order, slather it in their special sauce, and hand the skewer over so you can eat while you stroll the streets. Depending on the season you can also get roasted sweet potatoes, shaved ice, soft-serve ice cream and more. It’s located ten minutes’ walk from Meitetsu Inuyama Line Inuyama Station.

    A Japanese pickle shop located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture. The shop sells traditional Japanese pickles like moriguchizuke radishes pickled in mirin and Narazuke Nara-style pickles. Customers can also enjoy food in the shop like the Inuyama Enmusubi, rice balls with pickles; and the Mamori Unari, hitsumabushi eel rice wrapped in deep-fried tofu skin. The shop also sells a popular soft serve ice cream made with moriguchizuke, creating a delicate balance of sweetness and saltiness.

    漬け物が美味しいと聞きました。ランチに付いていた漬け物が美味しいです。抹茶氷もりぐちソフトも美味しいかき氷でした。

In the facility's sweets buffet, you can make your own original parfait, and during lunchtime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, curry, pasta, and other savory foods are also served. The facility's shop sells Tamago Boro biscuits in an original package as well as other confections and knickknacks.

    Yoshikawaya is in the town of Inuyama where you can find the National Treasure of Inuyama Castle. They specialize in refrigerated and dried goods, soft serve ice cream that uses fresh fruits (no canned fruit), and fresh juice. Their filling parfait with seasonal fruits and light, fluffy pancakes are very popular. Great desserts to enjoy as you walk around the castle town. It is only a six-minute walk from Inuyama Station on the Meitetsu Inuyama Line.

They hand make their pickles with traditional methods to suit the modern palate while not using additives or artificial flavors. The pickles are taken fresh from the barrel every morning, arranged for display, and sold by weight as desired. They have an array of pickled vegetables made from local produce, including carefully selected Moriguchi daikon radish pickles. They get their fantastic flavor from being pickled in a secret sake lees blend.

    Fujisawa Seika is a long-established cake shop which has continued to make the genkotsuame candy in the downtown area of Inuyama Castle since the Meiji period. The handmade candies made with brown sugar and sesame seeds, syrup, and soybean flour, contain many minerals and vitamins and have a simple, rustic flavor with a hint of cinnamon. It is also said that the Lord of Inuyama Castle would treat his retainers to the sweets as food in battle because the sweets were full of nutrition. Sweets branded with the Inuyama City official character, Wanmaru-kun, are also very popular. The nearest station is Inuyama Station.

    ランチは3種から選べます。1日15食限定の花かご御膳1380円、1200円、980円です。わたし達は花かご御膳を注文。籠に色々な器に料理が盛られ、籠のよこには、小さい花が飾ってありました。わたしの籠にはパンジー、連れの籠には菜の花と季節の花が可愛くて良かったです。お料理は、刺身、煮物、酢の物、天ぷら、茶碗蒸しとフルーツ、デザートはコーヒーゼリーの小倉乗せでした。美味しいかったです。

    夕方に行くことが多いのですが、何時に行っても20種類程度のパンがあり、明日の朝食用のパン選びに重宝してます。価格は平気して20-300円程度なので安くはないのですが、全ておいしいので大満足です。ハード系から、おかず系おやつ系まで揃っており、イートインもあるので、幅広い年代、目的で楽しめそうです。

    以前は住宅街の中の小さな店舗でしたが、現在の場所に移転してからはイートインスペースも出来て、さらにお客さんが増えた感じです。休日ともなると朝早くから家族連れのお客さんがたくさん来ていて、店内はかなり混雑しています。 パンはもちろん美味しいのですが、値段は少々高いです。ランチ用に買いに行くと、いつも千円オーバーしてしまいます。
