    A Shinto shrine standing at the foot of Inuyama Castle in Inuyama Kitakoken, Inuyama City. Although uncertain, according to legend, the temple was founded in 1586. The shrine was originally located in the adjoining Marunouchi Ryokuchi Park and was moved to its current location in 1964. The shrine was once frequented by Oda Nobuyasu, uncle of the mighty Oda Nobunaga, as well as the Naruse clan, whose members once served as the lords of Inuyama Castle.

    Pray for love and good couple life with heart-shape wooden plate. Don’t forget to make merit and ring the bell.

    フェリー乗り場に隣接している道の駅ですが、休業が続いていましたがやっと開店に出会いました。フェリーの乗船券は駐車場付近に移動したままでした。フェリー待ちの時にお土産を買ったりして時間がつぶれるようになって良かったです。また大勢観光客が訪れる日が待ち遠しいです。

The museum requires an advance reservation to view; a guided tour is provided. The museum is divided into different themes. First, the history of Mizkan vinegar production from the Edo period to modern times is introduced. The museum is full of interesting, interactive exhibits and clever ideas. The tour ends with an area where visitors can experience the wonders of foods with a focus on sushi and nabe hot pot. The museum also has a shop which sells unique original merchandise.

    南知多へ行く際に立ち寄りました。事前に予約が必要です。ガイド付きの全館コースがお薦めです。時間は90分かかります。ミツカンの酢作りの歴史に触れることができます。相当な力の入ったミュージアムです。入館料が300円必要ですが、設備やスタッフのことを考えると安いものだと思います。

    Hatcho Miso no Sato in Hatcho Town, Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, is owned by the Hatcho miso producer Kakukyu who have been making this kind of fermented soybean paste since the early Edo period. The black walled main building resembling a church and the storehouse built in 1927 have been designated as registered tangible cultural properties of Japan. In the old Meiji period storehouse now refurbished as an historical museum, visitors can see reproductions of how miso used to be made and the tools that were used. Visitors can also take a tour of the Hatcho Miso factory with guided tours available on weekends and national holidays. There is also a shop, an area to sample the miso, and a restaurant on site.

    This is a comprehensive science museum located in Nagoya City. The building is characteristic for its unique external appearance which seems to be embracing a giant sphere. The museum is largely composed of three main buildings, the Life Science Building, which features exhibits about the human body and life on earth, the Astronomy Building, which features astronomy and the mysteries of space, and the Science and Technology Building featuring exhibits related to science and physics. The sphere is actually the Brother Earth planetarium, the world’s largest which projects a large starry sky on the dome. There are also large exhibits popular with both children and adults such as a room with a temperature of -30 degrees Celsius where visitors can experience an aurora and a corner to experience an artificial tornado.

    Daijuji Temple is a Jodo sect temple in Kamoda Town, Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. It is a family temple of the Tokugawa Shogun family and their ancestors, the Matsudaira family. Matsudaira Chikatada founded the temple in 1475 as a temple for the war dead. The tombs of eight generations of the Matsudaira family and life-sized mortuary tablets of successive Tokugawa Shogun rest here. The temple is also famous as the place where Ieyasu, who lost the Battle of Okehazama, vowed to stage his comeback. In the temple grounds are many treasures including Important Cultural Properties such as the splendid Tahoto pagodas (a “multi-treasure” pagoda) established by Ieyasu’s grandfather, Kiyoyasu Matsudaira, and the screen paintings by Reizei Tamechika.

    The art museum is directly connected to Exit 1 of Shinsakaemachi Station. On display are the pieces of art collected by the late Yamazaki Teruyuki, former president of the Yamazaki Mazak Corporation. The collection focusses on French art from the 18th to 20th centuries. Along with paintings are art nouveau works by artists such as Emile Galle including glass pieces and furniture. Relax and enjoy French fine art in the exhibition halls decorated with chandeliers and other adornments giving them the feeling of classical salons.

    The receptionist had peremptory manners and it made me unpleasant. Its not busy at all even at weekend.

    A Shinto shrine located on Take Island in Takeshima-cho, Gamagori City. According to legend, the temple was founded by the poet Fujiwara no Shunzei in 1181. Dedicated to the goddess Ichikishima-hime no Mikoto, along with Enoshima Shrine and others, the shrine is considered one of Japan's seven great Benten shrines.

    竹島への橋の袂にあり宗像三女神の一、水の神イチキシマヒメを祀ります神社です。常に波が辺りを清めることから平安時代後期に藤原俊成が霊域と定めたのが創建だとのこと。竹島の眺めと共に気持ちが晴れやかになる感じを覚える神社でした。

    Built in 1898 as the manufacturing plant for Kabuto Beer, the building is valuable as a remembrance of the red brick beer factory built during the Meiji period (1868–1912). It is even a nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property. The designer, Yorinaka Tsumaki, was a master of the architectural world at the time. There is a permanent exhibit inside that shows the history of the birth of Kabuto Beer. In addition, there are exhibitions dealing with a wide range of subjects and the Handa Red Brick Marche open-air market. You can taste draft Kabuto Beer at a spacious cafe.

    レンタサイクルがあり1日500円。 南吉の里エリアを回って来ました。 電車で行く人には便利です。 建物内の有料エリアへは入りませんでしたが、外から見るだけでも素敵です。

    A direct sale shop for ebi senbei shrimp crackers which is also a popular tourist destination. From a large window in the factory tour area, you can watch as senbei are inspected and bagged. The sales corner is filled with some 40 different products, and you can also try some of them for free. The rest corner serves free tea and coffee. You can also buy squid fried in wine here. In the rest corner, there’s an area where you can try frying your own ebi senbei. The adjoining museum presents the history of ebi senbei.

The popular reservation-only Barbecue Garden area has a roof to protect you from sun and rain.

    新聞にお花畑のネモフィラが満開と掲載され、愛知県民ですが初めて訪問しました。 ネモフィラは満開で大満足でしたが、やはり駐車場待ちの渋滞が課題。帰路も駐車待ちの渋滞に巻き込まれて、動くに動かない状態に。駐車待ち車両を路肩に寄せる等の工夫をしてもらえれば、周辺に住んでいる方々の迷惑にもならないと思うのですが、どうでしょう?

    This art museum in Nagoya City's Higashi Ward is located on the 10th floor of the Aichi Arts Center, and is the successor to the Aichi Prefectural Culture Hall and Museum of Art which opened in 1955. Primarily featuring 20th century art from Japan and abroad, the museum is home to many masterpieces including works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Ryuzaburo Umehara, and Sotaro Yasui. In particular, there is a complete collection of works leaning towards German Expressionism and Surrealism, and also postwar art of the USA. The special collection donated by Nagoya art collector Teizo Kimura has more than 3,000 works including modern Japanese-style paintings, Chinaware, and Buddhist images, and these works are displayed in the Teizo Kimura Collection Room and in some of the special exhibitions.

    A roadside station standing along National Route 301 in Tsukudekiyooka Nagarami, Shinshiro City. The station has a farmer's market, facility which makes and sells processed foods, and a restaurant serving Japanese yam dishes and Hayashi rice made with highland tomatoes. In the station's Tonchin Museum (handmade experience facility), visitors can learn how to make various crafts and foods, and they even introduce a mediation of agriculture experience to participate in farming activities. In addition, there is a barbecue facility to enjoy empty-handed (reservation required).

    建物には自然薯料理や手作り高原野菜や牛肉のハヤシライス、そして美味しいお米の特Aミネアサヒが販売されています。確かにこの地域でできたお米は美味しいですね。 標高200メートル以上でしかミネアサヒは美味しくなりませんので、この地域のお米は美味しいこと間違いなしでしょう。

The station is host to a shop selling local agricultural and specialty products; an information corner which can tell you about nearby sightseeing spots, renowned establishments in the city, and area specialty products; and a light meal corner serving dishes made with purple wheat, a local Fujikawa specialty product, and Nukata District wild boar. The station is also adjoined by a convenience store open 24 hours a day which sells local specialty products.

    藤川町の道の駅です。10月ということで、ハロウィンの記念写真コーナーが設置されており、かわいかったです。また、季節感を出すという点でも良いと思いました。

    A branch temple of the Buddhist Daihonzan Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. The temple was erected in 1953 for believers in the Nagoya area and is the largest temple dedicated to Acala in the Chubu area. The temple’s principal object of worship is a figure of Acala holding a sharp sword in his right hand to cut away worldly desires. In his left hand, the statue holds a lariat to tie to the legs of those who have turned their backs on the teachings of Buddhism and drag them back to the path of righteousness. On New Year’s day, a special gomaku ceremony is held in which cedar wood is burned in offering to Acala. A variety of other events are also held at the temple. The closest station is the Meitetsu Inuyamayuen Station, a 10 minute walk away from the temple.

    This must be the main attraction of Inuyama. Zou can enjoy panoramic view from the swuare befor the temple. It offers fantstic view on the Inuyama castle and whole city. Mountains in the background...

    This railroad museum located in the Minato Ward of Naogya City is based around the Tokaido Shinkansen yet also introduces high-speed rail technology in use from conventional trains to superconducting magnetic levitating trains (SCMaglev). The museum has 39 real train cars on display including the MLX01-type linear motor car that was displayed at Expo 2005 Aichi Japan, and visitors can even enter some of them. There is a railroad diorama and also numerous display corners where visitors can learn about train history and technology through exhibits. The Shinkansen and conventional train simulators (chosen by lottery) are very popular. There is also a very dynamic mini theater where visitors can experience a simulated world of a SCMaglev train cruising at a speed of 500 kilometers/hour.

    A viewing platform located on the top of 250 meter tall Mt. Zao offering a 360 degree panoramic view. From the fourth floor viewing deck of the facility, visitors can get a sweeping view of Mikawa Bay and the Pacific Ocean, as well as Mt. Fuji on clear days. Cars can drive up to the viewing platform. A night, an outdoor illumination program represents the four seasons of Mt. Zao. You can enjoy the fairy tale-like sight from the star terrace on the second floor. The third floor has hands-on exhibits where you can play with light. The facility also has a café where you can take a break.

    A mountain stream just in front of the point where the Yahagi River, its tributaries the Tomoe River and Asuke River meet. Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
