    2019.2下旬訪問。 先日久しぶりに行ってキマシタ！ システムが変わって、観劇は別料金になって入浴のみは650円にナリマシタ！！ 事実上の値下げと言ってイイデセウ(笑)。 あいかわらずのイイお湯デシタ！ 露天風呂からの荒池の広大な眺めもスバラシイです！ 露天風呂にある、畳（2畳分）もオモシロイ。

    時間帯にもよりますが、駐車場が満車に近く、結構混んでいます。館内では食事もできるようでした。温泉は人工ですが、まずまずですね。

    23時まで営業してます。食事ができ、リクライニングの座席で休憩する場所もあり、子供が遊べるスペースまであります。小学生一年生から男、女と別れるので、低学年を一人で入れさせるのは心配かも。。。

    多いときは週に６回くらい行ってます。露天風呂にもテレビがついて、いいサービスだと思う。ただサウナのテレビがNHKのつまらない番組のときは損した気分になる。サウナから水風呂に入るときに掛け水しない客が多いのに従業員は全く注意しない。200回以上行ったが、１度も見たことがない。

    The curative waters of this hot spring district in the Miyazaki area have been known since the Meiji period but it wasn't until the late 1950s and early 1960s that a proper hot spring town area emerged here. The district's stunning scenery, commanding a view of the ocean, has made it highly popular; visitors can also enjoy an abundance of ocean leisure activities here. The waters of the district's chloride springs are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, sensitivity to cold, and fatigue. Many of the hotels, ryokan inns, and other lodging facilities in the district have outdoor baths with a view of the sea; at some establishments, you can even enjoy a hot spring bath while dining on the seafood fresh from Mikawa Bay. There are also many sightseeing destinations in the area, such as the Konrenji Temple's Midado pavilion, a National Treasure and the oldest wooden structure in the prefecture; the Former Konoe Residence, a grand estate which once belonged to the noble Konoe family from Kyoto; and numerous other famous historic sites, shrines, and temples.     The history of this hot spring district, considered one of the 100 most famous in Japan, dates back 1,300 years. The pale yellow waters of the area's chloride springs are said to treat nerve pain, rheumatism, women's diseases, and skin diseases. The district, which follows a ravine carved out by the Itajiki River, consists of around nine hot spring inns standing eave to eave, and bathers bathing in the area's outdoor baths will find their souls soothed by the beautiful local scenery. Bicycles can be rented at Yuya-Onsen Station and the Yuya Onsen Tourist Information Center, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy a day trip to a local hot spring bathhouse. Horaikyo Gorge extends five kilometers up and downstream from the district, and in summer the gorge's river is used for swimming and river sports, while in fall the area is known for its gorgeous autumn foliage. Other area attractions include the Toyokawa Inari Shrine, considered one of Japan's three greatest Inari shrines; Mt. Chausu; and Hamamatsu Flower Park.

The waters of the district's hypotonic alkaline cold mineral springs are said to treat numerous ailments, including nerve pain, muscle soreness, joint pain, frozen shoulders, motor paralysis, joint stiffness, bruises, sprains, digestive disorders, hemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, and fatigue, in addition to aiding post-illness recovery. Visitors can also find famous, typically Japanese understated sightseeing destinations nearby, such as the small Sasado Ryujin shrine, said to grant worshippers prosperity in business; and the Taishido pavilion, which, when prayed to, is purported to protect one from ear-related disasters.
