A confectionary located a 10-minute walk from JR Nishi-Yaizu Station. In the bright, spacious shop, customers can find unbaked sweets, traditional Japanese sweets, and Western-style sweets. A recommended item is Yaizuyaki, baked in a workshop on the premises, and consisting of a carefully baked shell wrapped around a tsubu-an grainy paste made from sweet adzuki beans grown in Tokachi. Shiro-an, made from boiled white beans is also for sale, and the moist baked shell goes outstandingly well with it. Products such as Kuroshio Manju and Uogashi Sable make appropriate gifts.
