    伊豆温泉村にある立寄湯で、ホテルも併設されています。正月2日に利用しました。源泉掛け流しのお湯は特徴はないですがフレッシュで温まります。炭酸泉や複数のサウナなど充実しているのも良かったです。伊豆なのでと海鮮丼をいただきましたが、こちらは期待を超えるものではなかったのが残念でしたが、置かれていた「となりのおくさん」という焼酎のネーミングが妙にウケました。

    "This public bathhouse is located in the heart of the Toi Onsen hot spring town, which has long been known as ""chomei no yu"" (baths of long life). It is about a 50-minute bus ride from Shuzenji Station on the Izuhakone Railway on the Tokai Bus to Matsuzaki and a five-minute walk from the Baba bus stop. The small bathhouse, which features indoor baths and elegant outdoor baths, is situated near Anrakuji Temple's Mabuyu, the baths that lead to the development of Toi Onsen. The high-quality free-flowing sodium calcium sulfate and chloride springs are said to help with conditions including sensitivity to cold, nerve pain, and muscle soreness. Some cold water is added for the purpose of cooling the hot spring water to a safe temperature."

    土肥温泉にある共同浴場の一つ。馬場(ばんば)地区にあります。近くの土肥神社と安楽寺に大きな楠の木があるので、楠の湯と言うんでしょうか。浴槽は小さいながらも露天もあります。比較的新しいので趣には欠けますが、その分気持ち良く利用できました。

    These foot baths that opened inside of Konayumoto Park in 2008 are located about 200 meters from Chitose Bridge, which spans the Kano River. It is sourced by Izu Nagaoka Onsen, a historic 1,300 year-old spa counted among Izu's three oldest along with Izuzan Onsen's Hashiriyu (gushing hot spring) and Shuzenji Onsen. The foot baths are equipped with a roof and are large enough for 7-8 people at a time. Blending water from two local hot springs provides the baths with a mineral profile that give them a mild character and strong warming effects.

A 12-meter-high elevation belvedere (observation deck) with an unbroken view of Shuzenji Temple’s townscape has also been built, enabling you to enjoy the effects of this relaxing hot spring.

    Tokko-no-yu is the birthplace of the Shuzen-ji hot spring, and it gushes forth through the clear stream of Katsura River which flows through the center of the Shuzen-ji hot spring town. When Kobo Daishi visited Shuzenji Temple in 807, he was impressed by the filial piety of a boy who was washing the back of his sick father in the Katsura River, thinking that “the water in the river must surely be cold”, legend has it that he struck a river rock with a Buddhist ritual implement and hot water sprang forth. However, currently it is prohibited to bathe in this hot spring.

The bathhouse's Radon no Yu baths are fed entirely by free-flowing hot spring water from Kona Onsen. The alkaline simple hot springs are said to aid recovery from fatigue and to help with conditions including nerve pain, lower back pain, and stiff shoulders. The bathhouse's nearly 5,000-square-meter garden features an 80-year-old weeping cherry tree that is truly a sight to behold when in full bloom.

    This public bathhouse is located next to the Toi Gyogyo bus stop near the Oyabu Coast, which is known for its beautiful sunsets. It is about a 50-minute bus ride from Shuzenji Station on the Izuhakone Railway on the Tokai Bus to Matsuzaki. The facility, which features a civic center on the first floor and public baths on the second floor, is visited by many locals. The bathhouse features indoor baths as well as two outdoor baths; a stone-lined bath and a monolith bath carved out of a single piece of stone. The two baths are rotated between the genders each month. All of the baths are fed with free-flowing calcium and sodium sulfate and chloride springs. The hot springs are said to promote recovery from fatigue and to help with nerve and joint pain as well as sensitivity to cold. A shrine to the Japanese Buddhist goddess Benzaiten has been installed next to the facility.

    A renowned hot spring district which records say was discovered by the great monk Kobo Daishi in 807. It is considered one of Japan's 100 most renowned hot spring districts alongside the famous Three Ancient Hot Springs of Izu. This area was also the site of the famous power struggle which took place in the Minamoto clan in the Kamakura period, and the town is dotted with historic sites connected to the clan such as the Shigetsuden, the oldest wooden structure in Izu. The alkaline waters of the simple springs found here are said to aid recovery from fatigue and promote health in addition to helping relieve muscle soreness, chronic digestive diseases, sensitivity to cold, and other ailments.
