A museum of musical instruments in 3 Chome Chuo, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City. The four exhibition rooms have almost 1,500 instruments from around the world including Asia, Oceania, Africa, America, and Europe, as well as keyboards and domestic western style instruments and electric instruments. They hold a variety of music salons including lecture concerts about singular instruments or pieces of music and more casual evening concerts.

Ill be honest, we only came here because it was a rainy day, but we really enjoyed it. Loved the instruments from all over. The neat thing was you could listen to the sound most of them made either...

A museum located a 10 minute walk from Izu-Kogen Station designed around the concept of a “teddy bear house.” The museum features numerous displays, including “Teddy Girl,” an early teddy bear produced by the German Steiff firm which is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, rare antique bears, and works by teddy bear makers from around the world. The brick exhibition hall is modeled after an English country home. There’s also a courtyard filled with cute bears and a tea room with comfortable terrace seating, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a truly fairy tale-like atmosphere.

A must-go if you are fan of Teddy. Various generations Teddy and Teddy in Japanese clothes are available. A bonus of Totorro exhibition is also available.

This is a park around a three-minute walk from JR Mishima Station, on a site run by Mishima City and originally used as a villa for Prince Komatsu Akihito that was built in 1890. Surrounded by rich forest the park is home to 160 varieties of trees and plants and, depending on the season, 30 species of birds as well. The garden surrounding Ohama Pond is designated as a Natural Monument of Japan and a Place of Scenic Beauty. It is a popular park for families, with its Norimono Hiroba area featuring a merry-go-round and miniature train, and the Dobutsu Hiroba (“Animal Area”) where one can enjoy petting small creatures. Admission is required for the park.

A museum in Yamamiya, Fujinomiya City. It was opened as Japan's first museum for stones in 1971. The variety of rare stones are displayed here not according to a mineralogical viewpoint, but using a viewpoint that compares them to animals or plants, based on Unkonshi-Japan's first expert stone manual, written by Sekitei Kiuchi, a naturalist of the Edo period. There are also exhibits of gemstones, luminous stones, dinosaur fossils and other fossils, and of materials related to Kenji Miyazawa (famous poet and author) as a geologist.

This exhibit hall and literature museum is situated within the Rengejiike Park in Nyakuoji, Fujieda City. A permanent exhibit of the regional history from primitive times to today is on exhibit with historical documents concerning Imakawa, and earthenware excavated from the Shidagunga ruins, a National Historic Site. This aquarium in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City was established by Tokai University's Social Education Center to further the efforts of social education. Tokai University's Oceanography Department also uses the facility to conduct educational of the ocean. The facility is split into two areas, the Aquarium in which a wide variety of sea life is bred and raised, and the Science Museum where you can have fun learning about the sea. There is also a museum shop where you can purchase souvenirs.

東海大学の自然系博物館です。近くには水族館もありセット入場券ごお得です。中はそんなに広くないのですが、細かく色々と展示されていて面白いです。また3階は恐竜の化石が展示されているのですが迫力がありました。

This museum is in Tateno, Iwata City. This museum exhibits artifacts pertaining to the origins of scent, allowing one to experience fragrance through time, the history of which reaches as far back as to the four great civilizations of the world. At the fragrance experience corner one can try your hand at mixing fragrances and sandblasted bottles. In the adjoining terrace cafe is over 200 books on fragrance one can leisurely relax with free refill drinks.

This is an exhibition hall within Mishima-taisha shrine along the Prefectural Route 22 in Omiya-cho, Mishima City. Housed here are the priestly treasures and cultural artifacts of the Mishima-taisha shrine handed down from the priests and Yadabe estate. Included in these are the National Treasure, the decorative Umemakie cosmetics box (generally, a replica is on display) said to be donated from Masako Hojo. The treasures on exhibit are switched out a few times a year, and the adjoining gallery is also available for other exhibits.

A museum located a 75-minute drive from the Tomei-Numazu Interchange. It was established in 1969 as part of the Meiji Centennial Project and presents materials connected with the construction of Japan's first real Western-style ship, the Heda-go, along with a mock-up of the Diana-go, which is kept here and which the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry has designated as part of the Heritage of Industrial Modernization. The adjacent Museum of History and Folklore provides information about the history of the fishing industry in Heda, while the Suruga Bay Deep Sea Creatures Museum displays deep sea life forms that have been caught in the waters of Suruga Bay.

１０時頃、入館する。周りは、行政の関係建物などがあり、駐車場も、割合利用できるとおもいます。館内は、ほとんどパスして、公園内の散歩するのがいいと思います。犬を連れて散歩している方もあり、近所の方が来ている感じです。かぐや姫会館も、そこそこ充実した展示で、お勉強ができます。
