This is a municipal-managed day-trip hot spring facility located in Kawazu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is a spot where one can enjoy plenty of warm water from the Mine Hot Spring. There are a variety of baths to enjoy, including indoor baths with lots of light thanks to their large windows, a rotemburo open-air bath with sounds of the flowing Kawazu River and a waterfall shower too. In February and March one can view the beautiful Kawazu cherry blossom trees in bloom from the rotemburo. The facility is also equipped with a 80 square meter relaxation room and a light meal area.

This is an hot spring bathhouse within the GotembaKogen Resort Toki-no-Sumika, a retreat in Koyama, Gotemba City. This bathhouse uses simple alkaline spring waters from the source and is said to be beneficial for nerve pain and muscle soreness, joint pain and frozen shoulders, motor paralysis, and joint stiffness. In addition to the outdoor bath, the Tenkunoyu, with a view of Mt. Fuji, the main bathing area also has a carbonated outdoor and indoor baths. High grade charcoal, binchotan, is used in the sauna. After bathing, visitors can enjoy the rest area, relaxation room, the dining area, or leisurely spend time in the adult only space for those 18 or older.

休みの日、夕方以降に来ることが多いです。夕方6時以降入場だと割引も有ります。18歳以下は入れない温泉。露天風呂は炭酸風呂で長湯すると気持ちが良いですよ。

This water supplies the large indoor bath and reclining bath, and you can also soak in it while enjoying the fresh air in their outdoor bath. They have a variety of other baths too, including a silk bath and a tsubo tub for one. They provide shampoo and body soap, and rent out towel sets as well, so you can drop in any time. A restaurant is on-site and curry udon noodle is their specialty.

This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located just next to the Kainano bus stop. It is on the right side of Prefectural Route 59 pass to the third bridge heading from the mouth of the river. The bathhouse is situated in a community surrounded by greenery on the banks of the Nishina River. As the name suggests, guests can soak in the baths while listening to the sound of the river as they enjoy spending a few quiet hours away from the urban hustle and bustle. The bathhouse features indoor and outdoor baths fed by calcium and sodium sulfate springs. The baths are rather spacious for a town-operated hot spring bathhouse and there is also lounge, making the bathhouse a great place to stop by while sightseeing.

寸又峡温泉の最奥にある、町営の露天風呂。ぬるぬるの温泉で、まさに化粧水。床も温泉で滑りやすい。単純硫黄泉の加温循環ですが、浴感はとてもいい。ややぬるめです。入浴料は500円。

The “Shimano-yu” is a baths facility located right on the coast, on the island of Hatsushima. The open-air pool, built directly adjacent to the sea, offers marvelous views of the ocean. The water is heated well-water drawn up from 40 meters below the coastline; it has high concentrations of dissolved minerals such as sodium and calcium, and is very good for the skin.

海が見渡せる露天風呂があるとのことで行ったのですが、あいにく女湯の露天風呂が設備不調で入れませんでした。ですが内湯からも十分に海が見渡せました。真夏なのでむしろ紫外線を浴びずに青空と海が見渡せながらお湯に浸かれてむしろよかったかもしれません。が、次回は露天風呂に入れることを願ってます。

Located in front of Ohama Beach, the widest beach in Nishi-Izu Town, this town-run day spa offers a relaxing soak in the bathtub surrounded by the scent of the sea and the sound of the waves, and is situated on a hill so that the open-air bath offers a beautiful view of the coastline, especially at dusk. The spring water is calcium sodium sulfate and is said to be effective for cuts, burns, chronic skin diseases, and arteriosclerosis.

西伊豆観光に行った際によった温泉です。海岸線にあるいくつかの露天風呂が4月初めだとオープンしていないので、こちらに伺いました。まぁ銭湯と言った感じで、そんなに広く無く、たまたまほぼ貸し切りでしたが、夕方などだとちょっと厳しそうな感じです。露天は景色が見えずかなり微妙でした。湯温はぬるく感じたので39℃以下と思います。個人的にはヌルメが好きなので、これはこれで良かったです。

Since it is located just a five-minute walk from the scenic and popular Yumigahama sea bathing area, many customers stop by for a hot bath after swimming in the sea. The wooden interior is reminiscent of days gone by, and the natural light pouring into the bathing areas from the windows gives them a bright, spacious feeling. The retro-style tile bathtubs are large enough to hold 15 people, and guests can relax and imagine that they’re at a neighborhood public bath.
