Shimo Prefecture Kamo-gun Minamiizu Town Performance 1600
This company offers entertaining guided tours that start at Yumigahama Beach and Onohama Beach, trace the old roads along the banks of the tranquil Aono River past local settlements, and ends in the forest village. Long ago, Izuishi (pyroxene andesite) mined in Minami-Izu was carried on rafts and canoes down the Aono River to Yumigahama Beach from where changed to ship and reached Edo. The company offers three enjoyable tours worthy of an episode and geographic that leverage this historical fact.

Fuji, the Subashiri Trail 5th Station in Oyama Town is characterized by forests that line the trail up to a certain altitude, providing shade for climbers. But after the sun sets or when fog sets in, climbers can lose their way, so they need to be careful. After leaving the forest and before finishing their climb, they can see the sunrise and the shadow of the mountain against the sky. From the Original 8th Station, this route joins the Yoshida Route. The routes for ascending and descending are partly different, and climbers can descend rapidly on the Subashiri ""sand running"" Route."

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
