This forest park at the lush foot of Mt. Ena is a great place for a leisurely stroll and dining on delicious cuisine. It’s located as you reach Enakyo Gorge, about a five-minute drive from Ena Station. It’s bordered by the Agikawa River and strolling on the tree-lined boardwalk will give you a chance to view seasonal flowers. You may even catch sight of a kamoshika, or Japanese serow. The park is dotted with shops and restaurants, including Mikuriya, a cafe that offers Japanese confections made with chestnuts, and Mori-no-Shokutaku, an Italian restaurant. There is a cafe terrace as well, where you can enjoy a delicious, relaxed meal in the midst of nature.

The Stone Museum Hakusekikan is famous for having the largest pyramid in Japan, built from 5,500 tons of Hirukawa granite. The Museum offers a wide range of activities, including precious stone hunting, quarrying experience activities, and craft activities that involve making things by hand. The pyramid is a one-tenth scale replica of the Great Pyramid (the Pyramid of Khufu) in Egypt, with a “burial chamber” inside that houses a sarcophagus containing stones from genuine Egyptian pyramids and other commemorative artifacts. The Stone Museum Hakusekikan is located around 15 minutes’ drive from the Ena Interchange of the Chuo Expressway.

"Nihon Taisho Mura is a theme park located a five-minute walk from Akechi Station on the Akechi Railway. Volunteers manage and staff the park which is based on the concept of ""Nihon Taisho Mura, streetscapes and customs of the past."" Akechi was once a town full of yarn-making factories, and a streetscape of shops, houses, a library, and a museum from the Taisho period (1912-1926) have been recreated there and contain displays of materials and artifacts pertaining to Taisho culture. Visitors can feel as if they are in a time warp if they take the ""Haikarasan Course,"" in which they dress up in hakama (traditional culotte-style trousers) and roam around the streets in which the atmosphere of the Taisho period remains."

This public museum operated by Gifu Prefecture specializes in modern ceramic art. It features a collection of Japanese and international ceramics dating to as early as the 19th century. It is located in Ceramic Park MINO, designed by the architect Arata Isozaki. Ceramic even finds its way into places like the ceiling and outer walls. They put effort into art education and frequently hold a variety of workshops mainly dealing with ceramics. They also hold gallery talks by curators as well as unique regular planned exhibits.

Located only a three-minute walk south of JR Ena Station, this museum houses works of the world-famous ukiyo-e artist, Utagawa Hiroshige. Most of the collection consists of woodblock print ukiyo-e such as “The Sixty-nine Stations of the Kiso Kaido” of his mature period, and the exhibits change nearly every month. In the Ukiyo-e Navi Room, a permanent installation, visitors can learn all about woodblock prints in an enjoyable way. An especially popular feature is the “Make Your Own Woodblock Print” corner, where visitors can use fake plates and apply layers of stamp ink to make their own woodblock print to take home.

An interactive, activity-oriented science museum, one of only a few in the country, located a 10-minute drive from the Mizunami Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. The museum has very few exhibits, and instead visitors can deepen their interest and understanding of science while having fun participating in the various experiments and creation events the museum holds. Enjoy a variety of experiments and experiences like the museum's hour long science shows combining images projected on a big screen with experiments performed on a stage, and special workshops where you can enjoy an experiment show conducted right in front of your eyes. The museum also holds public courses through which you can explore science more deeply.

At Enakyo Wonderland, the whole family can enjoy a great day out, with a wide range of attractions and craft activities; many of the attractions are suitable for toddlers (with parental supervision). The pirate-themed “Caribbean” water-park (which is only open in the summer), which has lots of fun activities for both adults and children, including water-slides and an adventure playground, is especially popular. Enakyo Wonderland is located around eight minutes’ drive from the Ena Interchange of the Chuo Expressway.

This art museum is about ten minutes by car from the Setoshinano Interchange. Ichinokura is a pottery making village, and they focused on smaller items such as sake cups due to poor transportation access. The museum displays lots of pottery like sakazuki cups at their permanent and planned exhibitions. Gallery Chu shows the work of modern artists, and they have facilities dedicated to ceramics like their Sakutokan Hall where you can try working a potter’s wheel. At the Museum Shop, you can purchase Minotosui (sake and ceramic sets), choice sake, and fine quality sweets. There’s also a restaurant serving pizza from their stone oven.

You can reach it in about 20 minutes from JR Tajimi Station by taking the Kikyo Bus and getting off at the Mino-yaki Museum Mae bus stop. Pick up a pot shard and you'll feel the pottery's weight and texture and get a good look at the thickness of the glaze and the clay. You can also have local sweets and sip matcha tea from a cup made by one of Mino's leading potters and a living national treasure.

This is a museum in Akechi-machi designated as a cultural property of Ena City. Situated in the center of Nihon Taisho-mura, it exhibits various materials on the Taisho period (1912-1926). The museum and “Ginkogura” is a four-story wooden building with a manual elevator, and was a precious building that was large for the time. A remnant of the town of raw silk, it was the cocoon vault of a bank to store them. “Taisho no Yakata,” leading from the back on the south side of “Ginkogura,” is the site of the residence of the distinguished Hashimoto family who operated a rice dealership at the time and later a medical hospital.
