    Gujo Hachiman Beer Kobokobo is an artisan beer brewery made with the famous local water. Its sales outlet is located inside ofGenrinMachiyaBuilding, a traditional machiya house, built more than 80 years ago, that once housed an apothecary. Because of a microbrewery, the amounts available at any one time are limited, but many varieties are available, including pale ale and cream ale. The smallgarden of the house functions as a food court, where customers can buy food at the counters and sit wherever they like to enjoy their beer. The machiyaBuilding also houses Spain Bar and other businesses, and customers may buy the food to accompany their beer at one of these other places.

    Ten minutes on foot from JR Gero Station, this store is run by a pharmaceutical manufacturer headquartered in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture. Their Okuda Gero Abura ointment is a Gero Onsen specialty, sold to ease lower back pain, joint pain, and stiff shoulders. It was handed down through the generations to Okuda Mataemon, an orthopedic doctor in Gero Onsen. They offer black, white, and green Gero Abura, as well as a liquid version. They have a variety of other products too, like bathwater additives, and Japanese style scented papers called Nagomi Sheets. You use different ones according to your symptoms.

    住在日本快5年了一到梅雨季就特別想去泡溫泉,來下呂溫泉這是第二次了。第一次來下呂時偶然買了下呂膏,沒想到對我的風濕疼很有效果。所以這次特意去了下呂膏的本店買了膏藥。本店是個歷史悠久的老鋪,非常有歷史感,這次還買了配合草本成分的浴鹽也很贊。如果想在下呂買手信的話推薦這家店哦!

    A gift shop located on the second floor of the Active G mall connected directly to JR Gifu Station. Serving as a space for providing information about local Gifu products, the shop carries some 1,500 products produced in the prefecture at any given time, from furniture and knickknacks to foods. The shop’s shelves are filled with handpicked items, including sake cups from Gifu’s Toki region, an area known for its abundant production of ceramics; local Gifu liquors; and ultra-sharp knives from Seki City, a renowned cutlery production center and birthplace of such famous swordsmiths as Magoroku Kanemoto and Izuminokami Kanesada.

    An apartment-style rental space located in the Yanagase shopping arcade. The facility is host to a variety of idiosyncratic tenants, including a boutique, Western confectionary shop, and a café, and just looking around provide hours of fun. There’s also the Yanagase Souko Housing Estate, a collection of tiny, mostly consignment sale shops which displays and sells pieces handmade one at a time by artisans. The facility also promotes activities such as the 878 Club, a group of amateur beekeepers; and the “Chisana Craft-ten,” an exhibition held four times a year selling handmade items. The facility’s doors are open every day, but the hours and scheduled closing days differ from tenant to tenant.
