    This park in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture is located between Nagara Bridge and Ukai Ohashi Bridge. It features a space equipped with athletic playground equipment including an “antlion pit,” as well as and an area where you can play miniature golf. Flower beds planted with seasonal flowers have been installed at the flower terrace and along the paths through the park, creating beautiful sights to enjoy. The food corner offers light fare such as blended coffee and soft-serve ice cream. The park also hosts many events including Tai Chi classes, plant and flower classes, and Sequoia Forest concerts.
  • Seki Traditional Sword Smith Museum

    This museum will teach you about the history of sword making in Seki. On the first floor of the two-story building there is a display of swords by the preeminent swordsmiths Kanemoto and Kanesada. On the second floor there is a collection of knives and various blades made with Seki's techniques. They have an area for practicing sword arts, and they hold their Hamono Festival once a month where they open the whole facility to public viewing. They charge a fee for the tour, but certain events are free, such as the Uchizome-shiki, the ceremony marking the first forging of the year.

    Gifu City Tower 43 is a commercial facility built in front of Gifu Station. With 43 stories, it is 170 meters tall. It opened in 2007 and quickly became a new landmark for the city. The first through fourth floors are commercial facilities, while the sixth to 42nd floors are condominiums. The 43rd floor is an observation area, divided into east and west sections, which offers a panoramic view of the city of Gifu. In the south-facing part of the 43rd floor is an upscale French restaurant, where diners can enjoy a relaxing meal accompanied by a nighttime view of the city.

    "This park located in Tarui Town, Fuwa County is on both sides of the Aikawa River. From late March through about early May, over 300 koinobori (carp streamers) can be seen ""swimming"" in the sky above the river. In addition, about 200 Yoshino cherry trees are in bloom from around late March through early April, so you can enjoy the unique sight of intermingling cherry blossoms and koinobori."

    The Sekigahara War Land is a 33,000 squre meter resource center imagined as an amusement park, in which the Battle of Sekigahara is re-enacted, realistically depicting the battle with 240 lifesize figures spread across the wide grounds. With a reservation for the lounge, you can hear historical interviews for free. And you can enjoy some steak made with Hida beef or Omi beef in the adjacent restaurant. Five minutes by car via Sekigahara Interchange on the Meishin Expressway.

    This outdoor park is about a 30-minute drive from the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway’s Shirotori Interchange. Located in a lush green area called “Oku-Mino no Bettenchi,” the course made with fine 80 year-old cedar is outstanding. Besides the Tokai and Hokuriku regions first high slope course “Tree Top Adventure” originating in Europe, you can enjoy various activities such as the 100-meter long zip-slide where you slide through the air, and the Tarzan Swing which requires courage to leap. It has a reputation for being a place where even adults can return to their childhoods.

    セグウェイとアスレチック2つのプラン6000円で申し込みました。いとしろはスキー以外に来たことがないところでしたが、森を生かしたセグウェイツアーはかなり楽しめました。途中草花や木のの説明をガイドさんがしてくれます。アスレチックは大人も本気で遊べるもので、吊り輪やターザンなどは本当に筋肉痛になりました。アスレチックの最後にジップウェイがかならず準備されていて、楽しかったです。

    This complex-style park has a lot going on. It consists of the nationally managed Kokuei Kisosansen Park, the World Fresh Water Aquarium (run by Gifu Prefecture), the Public Works Research Institute's Aqua Restoration Research Center, and the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway's Kawashima Parking Area and Highway Oasis. In addition to research laboratories and observation areas, there is the World Freshwater Aquarium's Aqua Toto Gifu and a recreational complex with Oasis Park where you can experience various things related to riparian environments.

    ローマン 初めて訪れました。整備されたキャンプ場です。サイトは広くすななので水はけがいいです。コロナ禍のせいか半分くらいに予約を抑えている様子でした。料金に含まれている広いお風呂があるのります。コインのシャワールームが別にあり24時間使えます。洗濯機、乾燥機もありました。川が近くにあり、増水したら少し心配だと思いました。

    A museum established as a symbol of Hakusan culture that showcases a variety of historical materials related to the Mt. Hakusan faith and its gods. The mountain officially became an object of worship in 717. The building is designed to look like Mt. Hakusan, and it shows videos of pilgrimage on the mountain with its 300-inch triple screen. There's also an information plaza showcasing various historical sites, a cultural property exhibition room, and a display on the the Gujo Rebellion, a large peasant uprising. The Hakusan Ryuhoden annex features wooden statues of the Buddha Triad and the Four Heavenly Kings that are nationally designated Important Cultural Properties.

    白山信仰の歴史や、映画化もされ当地で起こった「郡上一揆」について学べる博物館です。3スクリーンの映像が迫力ありわかりやすく良かったです。瀧宝殿との共通セット券もありました。

    This fruit orchard amidst Nakatsugawa’s lush natural environment grows produce using as little chemical fertilizer and pesticide as possible. They have grape picking from early August, chestnut gathering from early September, and from early October you can pick apples. Generally, you only need reservations for gathering chestnuts, but if you’re coming in a large group, you’ll need them for grape and apple picking too. It has a private parking lot and also caters to those in wheelchairs and with guide dogs. They sell grapes, pears, apples, and more from their farm stand, and you can purchase them by the kilogram for gifts.

    リンゴ狩りな始まったばかりの時期で陽光という品種のリンゴ狩りをしました。 リンゴ1つ1つが大きく、1個を食べるだけで既に満腹。食べ放題とは言えせいぜい1-2個が限界です。これでお土産もなく800円は割高な印象を受けました。

    Kamagatani Sports Park is situated on the slopes of the Kamaga-tani Valley. In the center of the park there is a roofed rest area and a pond; the park is also equipped with wooden play equipment for children, with the 55 meter-long jumbo roller slide being especially popular with kids. There is also a large lawn area on which visitors can enjoy playing disc golf, etc., and a 780 meter-long jogging track circuit. There are cherry trees growing in the park, so in the cherry blossom season visitors can bring a groundsheet and sit on the lawn to admire the cherry blossom.

    "A 20-minute drive from the Ogaki Interchange and the Kuwana-higashi Interchange. This park, located not far from Roadside Station Tsukimi no Sato Nanno, is a picturesque destination which has been included in the Japan's Top 100 Most Beautiful Moon Views as well as the Japan Nightscape Heritage lists. The park is lit up until 9:00 p.m. every Saturday night (note that the park's Suisho no Yu bathhouse is closed and thus the lights on the walking path leading to it are not turned on during this time). Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers and plants, including cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangea blossoms during the rainy season, and fall foliage in autumn. In winter, the park also offers satsuma mandarin orange picking, a local specialty product. The ""Stairway to the Moon"" located inside the park consists of 258 steps in all. At the ""Moon Square"" at the top of the steps, visitors can see Gifu Castle, JR Central Tower, Mt. Ena, and Mt. Ontake. Gifu Prefecture's only satsuma mandarin orange farm is located nearby, and in winter visitors can purchase these oranges at the aforementioned Roadside Station Tsukimi no Sato Nanno."

    An urban park where children can play in a naturally lush environment located three kilometers north of the Unumanishi-machi intersection on National Route 21. Park facilities include a traffic square modeled after a miniature city with traffic lights and railroad crossings, and children can play using pedal powered go-carts and bicycles while learning about traffic and proper traffic manners. A popular destination for prefectural residents to rest and relax, other facilities include an adventure square with playground equipment, a relaxation square where you can listen to birds singing and the burble of a stream, and a spacious natural grass lawn.
