- 35 minutes and 25 kilometers from the Suwa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway via National Route 152. This guided tour operated by Yatsugatake Adventure Tours is conducted on Lake Shirakaba situated at the foot of Yatsugatake Mountains. Lake Shirakaba is extremely calm and motorboats are not allowed on its waters, and this tour makes use of highly stable recreational kayaks, ensuring that everyone from age three up to senior citizens can have fun plying the lake. The tour takes around two hours. The company's Step Sup, the latest aquatic recreational activity out of California, are also popular.
