- "The oldest zoo in Nagano Prefecture in operation since 1926, it is located inside Komoro Castle Ruins Kaikoen Park. Approximately 86 kinds of animals are bred in the zoo, and events are regularly held such as ""Penguin Mogumogu Petapeta Time"" (when the penguins go for a walk), feeing time when you can feed ponies and deer, and time when you can interact with guinea pigs. Many families visit mainly on the weekends."

懐古園の中にある昔ながらの雰囲気がある動物園です。結構いろいろな動物がいますが、ときどきなくなってしまった動物の訃報が張りだしてあったりして、ちょっとしみじみなごみます。
