    A museum dedicated to the Japanese poet Kobayashi Issa located in Shinano Town, Kamiminochi County, Nagano Prefecture. After Issa's death, the storehouse he lived in was designated a National Historic Site, and this museum was built in commemoration. Inside, visitors can view personal affects and books which belonged to the writer. The museum also holds regular events which attract large numbers of people, such as the Issa Memorial National Haiku Tournament and Issa lecture courses.

    This public bathhouse is a symbol of Yamada Hot Springs and has a history of more than 200 years. The wooden building, with a hipped roof and Chinese cusped gable built in the Momoyama architecture style, has the scent of steam and gentle wood and a hot spring charm. There are two types of bath inside, a hot water bath and a cooler water bath and visitors you can enjoy a bath at the temperature they prefer.

    A day trip hot spring bathhouse located a 15-minute drive from Mure Station on the Shinano Railway. The bathhouse gets its water from a hot spring in the Izuna-Higashi Highlands. These waters are said to treat such ailments as chronic skin diseases, chronic women's diseases, nerve pain, cuts, and burns. The bathhouse has an outdoor bath with a view of the five Hokushin mountains, Mt. Myoko, Mt. Madaraoyama, Mt. Kurohime, Mt. Togakushi, and Mt. Iizuna, which stand on the border between Nagano and Niigata where bathers can enjoy a relaxing soak along with the area's natural beatury. Meanwhile, the bathhouse' indoor bathing area has a sweeping view of Mt. Iizuna from its large windows. In the sauna room, you can sooth your cares away while watching television.

    This memorial hall in Toyosato, Nozawaonsen Village is dedicated to Takano Tatsuyuki, renowned lyricist known for such songs as “Kokyo (Hometown),” “Haru ga Kita (Spring is Here),” and “Oborozuki Yo (Moonlit Night).” You can view such articles as his drafts, letters, paintings and writings, and more. Shiko Munakata, Masaaki Tanaka, Shiro Kasamatsu’s works are also stored here and showcased during special exhibitions. There’s also a cafe, museum shop, and carillon that plays Takano Tatsuyuki’s songs at regular intervals.

    温泉の合間にいきました。観光にはぴったりです。野沢温泉はとても小さな集落ですのでどの旅館からも徒歩圏内です。

The elliptical museum, which has a theme of ""Coexisting with Nature,"" was designed by world-renowned architect Kurokawa Kisho. Exhibitions include works by Kodama Katei , who was Yamanouchi-machi native and a Nanga painter, and Yoshimoto Yumiko, a contemporary glass artist."

    A museum located in Higashiyama Park whose design is based off azekura-zukuri log storehouse architecture. The museum preserves and displays a collection of over 2,000 clay dolls from around the country, including Nakano tsuchi ningyo dolls. Visitors can also enjoy fun activity in which they can receive a plain white figurine to paint how they like. The clay doll painting activity takes between 30 minutes and three hours. Surrounded by the museum's warm, woody design, you can decorate your very own tsuchi ningyo doll.

    3/20に訪れました。広い志賀高原の中でも標高が最も高いため、雪質はこの時期でもかなり良いです。第3スカイペアに乗ると分かりますが、ぐんぐんと標高を稼いでいくあの高度感はたまらないものがあります。ただ、コースは上部は林道主体です。上級者にはショートカットする急斜面もありますが、中級以下だとぐるぐる回って下りるだけになってしまいます。

A sledding hill is located in front of the central rest house, ensuring that even small children can enjoy safe fun here. The groups of Nikkokisuge plants that bloom in early summer are especially famous. There’s also an observation platform in front of the gondola station at the peak from which you can view the Northern Alps (Hida Mountains) and more.

    コロナ禍の2020年8月お盆休みに訪れましたが、人は疎らでした。天気が良くて、景色は最高でした。早く観光客が戻る事を祈っています。コーヒーを飲んだだけなので、評価は「普通」ですが、景色が最高だったので「良い」にしました。

    The Naena Falls, chosen as one of Japan’s Top 100 Falls, is a waterfall with a 55m drop along Sekigawa River and the borders of Nagao prefecture. The two most recommended seasons are spring, just when the snow starts to melt, and mid-October, with autumnal leaves. It is also referred to as “Earthquake Falls” since the earth rumbles as the amount of water increases in spring. You can reach the falls in about 15 minutes by following the promenade.
