    Nagano Pref. Kamitakaiguntakayamamura Okuyamada 3579-1
This tourist facility is on Prefectural Route 66 in Okuyamada, Takayama Village, Kamitakai County. It has a sales corner for local products, a footbath, a tea room that serves light fare, an event plaza, an exhibition space, and more. The second floor has a Japanese-style room that you can use for a rest after a visit to Oyu, the adjacent hot spring facility. A tourist office provides area information as well as help with accommodation, making it a great starting point for exploring Takayama Village.

    Nagano Kamiminochi-gun Shinanomachi Kashiwabara 175-6

Nagano Areas

around-area-map

Nagano prefecture is an exciting mix of mountains, hot spring monkeys, and preserved Edo history. At the heart of the Japanese Alps, Nagano is one of the country’s most popular destinations, whether in winter for its snow sports and the much-loved Jigokudani Monkey Park or in the warmer months for discovering the undulating hills on foot. For fantastic Edo architecture, head to the Kiso Valley for a 60-kilometer stretch of quaint wooden buildings that marked the Nakasendo route 200 years ago.
