    This observation area is on Prefectural Route 36 in Ogawa Village, Kamiminochi County, Nagano Prefecture. It's equipped with free tourist telescopes that provide a sweeping view of the Northern Alps and has been selected as one of Nagano's top 100 sunset viewing spots, as well as one of its top 100 natural areas. Lots of travelers visit for the gorgeous seasonal views.

    Nagano Pref. Omachishi Yasaka Mount Falcon
    A scenic overlook on the top of Mt. Takagari in Yasaka, Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture which offers a spectacular view of many of the Hida Mountains. A convenient 20 minutes by car from Shinano-Omachi Station, the overlook is a popular destination for enjoying beautiful and picturesque scenery. Here you can get a 360 degree panorama, from Mt. Shirouma to Mt. Jonen; the view at dusk, in particular, will take your breath away. Also a well-known date spot, the overlook has also been selected as a mecca for couples.

    大町駅から徒歩１５分で山岳博物館のある公園で八重桜のバックに北アルプスのパノラマを楽しみ、登山道に入って１時間、付近No1の北アルプス大展望台に辿り着く。残念ながら車でも頂上に行ける上に、高さ約２０mの展望台もある。

    An observatory and parking area located a 50-minute drive from the Shinshu-Nakano Interchange on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway. Situated part way up Mt. Yokote, the Yokoteyama Skylator and Yokoteyama Lift operating just beyond the parking area can be used to reach the top of the mountain. The observatory is the perfect place from which to take in the abundant natural beauty and seasonal scenery of the Shiga Highlands. In fall, vivid autumn foliage delights the eyes of the many tourists who come here. The observatory is closed in winter but visitors can enjoy snowy landscapes if snow happens to accumulate in the area before this time.

    This scenic overlook is located in Kinasa, a place where legend has it an oni ogre built a mountain in a single night in the distant Asuka period. The pass the observatory is situated on is 1,055 meters above sea level and is a part of Prefectural Route 36 connecting Togakushi and Kinasa in the northwestern part of Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. The observatory has a bench and arbor. The Northern Japan Alps are visible in the distance, while a stream and the natural beauty of Kinasa sprawl directly below.

    This observation platform is along National Route 292 in Hirao, Yamanouchi Town. It offers an amazing view of the great Kanman Falls between the ravine, with a height of 107 meters and a width of 20 meters. Visiting during the fall foliage or new bloom seasons is recommended.
