    This day-trip hot spring facility is located in Kiso-machi, Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. You can take relaxing soaks in hot springs in a ravine surrounded by mountains of Kiso. On clear days, you are able to see Mt. Komagatake, Mt. Mugikusa and Mt. Misawa from the hot springs. It also features a bubbling carbonated spring you can enjoy. In addition, there is a Japanese-style resting place available for private rentals, and also a restaurant to eat edible wild plants and soba noodles.

    炭酸泉ということで行ってみました。 お湯はいいと思うのですが、湯船が小さく、5人程度で満員状態です。しばらく湯船に浸かることが出来ず、シャワーを浴びて入浴する順番待ちをしていた状況でした。 湯船に浸かっても隣の人と近いし、待っている人がいるし、「温泉でくつろぐ」には、人が少ない時期や時間がいいと思います。 ちょっとリピートは厳しい感じです。

    A day-use hot spring bathhouse that gets its name from the comb-like shape of the mountain and a Japanese play on words for enjoying yourself in the wild. The simple sulfur hot spring has an abundant flow of water. It's good for the body whether you soak in it or drink it. Soaking here is said to help alleviate nerve pain as well as chronic digestive diseases and drinking the hot spring water is supposed to be good for diabetes and relieving constipation. In addition to an outdoor bath with a panoramic view of Sakaki-machi, it has a traditional Goemon bath, a sauna, and a bath where you can do water exercises.

    A day-use hot spring bathhose with a magnificent view of Mt. Asama and an abundant flow of hot spring water. The ample facilities include a small outdoor bath with a terrific view, a jet bath that delivers pleasant stimulation to body and mind, a dry sauna, and a bath with facilities for the physically challenged (available with a reservation). The park next door is fully equipped with a mallet golf course, a playground, and a promenade. It's great stopping in for a soak after working up a sweat with all the park's activities. There are also value plans like services that alternate weekly. They come with coffee and let you soak in the baths too.

    A 40-minute drive from the Ueda-Sugadaira Interchange and the Omi Interchange. A day trip hot spring bathhouse located in an area filled with hot spring inns. The bathhouse gets its name from the mountain behind facility, which resembles Kyoto's Mt. Ogura. A hot spring area highly regarded by those in the know, the history of Kutsukake Onsen dates back to when Prince Shigeno's eye was healed after bathing in the hot spring waters here. A list of bathhouses published in 1810 records there were 292 bathhouses in the area at that time. The bathhouse' waters are on the lukewarm side, making it possible to bath in them for an extended period of time to fully warm the body to the very core. Another merit is the fact that the bathhouse is open from 7:00 a.m. from June to August.

    信州最古ともいわれる沓掛温泉の元湯。かつてはもう少し賑わっていたようだが今は狭い峠道を登っていく途中に数軒の宿がある小ぢんまりとした温泉だ。そこの元湯かここ。夕刻に訪れたが入っている客は皆地元のお年寄り。いなかの共同浴場の雰囲気。観光客を呼び込むような洒落た作りでもないし、サウナや露天風呂もなし。でも泉質は滑らか。

The first hot spring bathhouse in Japan to be built on the grounds of a highway rest area, the facility is situated on a rise, enabling bathers to take in a sweeping view of Lake Suwa. The view at night is particularly beautiful. A popular, oasis-like destination for drivers to ease away the fatigue of a long journey, depending on the time of year, visitors can also enjoy seasonal baths such as a yuzu citrus bath or Chinese quince bath. As the hot spring taxes in Suwa City on the inbound line and Okaya City on the outbound line differ, the bathhouse entry fee differs depending on the direction you are traveling.

    東名の足柄や名神の多賀等、全国の高速道路のSA、PAでお風呂があるところは他にもありますが、温泉はこの諏訪湖しか知りません。いつも出かけた帰りにこちらを通りかかると利用しますがリフレッシュできて良いと思います。循環ですが塩素臭は気にならない程度。普通の温泉のように規制がないので、お絵描きした方も良くご利用されますから気になる方は避けた方が良いと思います。

    Komakusa no Yu is a day-trip spa facility that is in the highlands of Komagane City that offers a great view of the Southern Alps (Akaishi Mountains). The indoor facilities such as the medicinal baths, jet baths, cold baths, and sauna are nice, but the open-air baths allow you to experience nature in all its grandeur. You can see the Chuo Alps (Kiso Mountains) on days where the horizon line between the sky and the Alps is beautifully clear. It’s three minutes by car from the Komagane Interchange on the Chuo Expressway, or 13 minutes on the Shirabidaira-bound bus from JR Komagane Station.

    A public bathhouse located in Shimosuwa Onsen. Shimosuwa Town's hot spring district was established in 1927, and this bathhouse is, relatively speaking, one of the newest in the area. The waters of the bathhouse' sulfate spring and chloride spring are said to alleviate nerve pain and muscle soreness and are a favorite of locals. The bathhouse' bathing area has a semicircular bathtub with a tile mural depicting Mt. Fuji. The bathhouse' waters are on the hot side, so bathers are encouraged to give their body time to adjust the heat and enter the tub slowly. The bathhouse doesn't not provide soap and other amenities for free but towels, soap, and shampoo, etc., can be purchased at the attendant's booth.

    三湯めぐりは「旦過湯」「児湯」「新湯」の公衆温泉銭湯（浴場）がセットになっていて、その内の新湯は昭和（2年）に入ってから開湯したものです。い浴場です。わずかに塩味を有し、豊富な成分のお湯がリューマチや神経痛によく効くため、女性客に人気です。入湯料は子供110円、大人230円です。地元の人に根強い人気の公衆浴場です。

    This octagonal, Roman-style spa has glass windows that offer views of Mt. Yatsugatake to the east and the Southern and Northern Alps to the west. It is the fifth among six hot spring facilities in Chino City and opened in 2003. It has a sauna, small and large rest areas, and an eating facility. It’s about 10 minutes by car from the Suwaminami Interchange on the Chuo Expressway.

The waters of the spa's mildly alkaline simple spring are said to treat such ailments as fatigue, nerve pain, and joint pain. There's also an adjoining 15 meter by six meter indoor heated pool and children's pool open year round.
