Note that the adjoining Akiyama Woodworking Producer's Association woodwork craft gallery and shop is currently closed. The store on the third floor, however, makes crimson glory vine bags and visitors can also view single board tables, braziers, and other merchandise on display (advanced reservation by phone is required).

Lake Shirakaba is extremely calm and motorboats are not allowed on its waters, and this tour makes use of highly stable recreational kayaks, ensuring that everyone from age three up to senior citizens can have fun plying the lake. The tour takes around two hours. The company's Step Sup, the latest aquatic recreational activity out of California, are also popular.

Carrying both Western and Japanese confections, many of the shops products are seasonal exclusives. Staple products include the melt-in-your-mouth Hanjuku Cheese and Hanjuku Chocolate cakes; and the Saku carp-themed Koiguruma, a pair of carp-shaped cakes clasping each other in a circle filled with coarse sweet bean paste and custard cream. Many of the shop's confections cunningly incorporate both Japanese and Western elements, such as the Shinano Oiwake buns filled with a cream crafted from butter, milk, and honey. The Kurumi Mochi walnut cakes and Imo Kintsuba sweet potato flour dough cakes, only available at this location, are particularly popular.

The company also sells miso pickles, miso karinto snacks, soy sauce, and concentrated sweet amazake.

Primarily making and selling miso, the shop notably continues to make its miso according to an old-fashioned, traditional method called miso-dama-zukuri. The shop only uses domestic ingredients to craft its products. Particularly recommended is the Hourei miso, made using the miso-dama-zukuri method. Other varieties include the Shinshu miso-style Tenjo and Tanrei misos, and customers can choose the miso or misos they like the best. Originally a koji malted rice maker, the shop also sells an abundant variety of koji pickles made with ingredients from Matsumoto such as pickled coleseed greens and uri melon kasuzuke sake lee pickles.

The shop's main store is located in Tokyo's Sugamo, and the chain also has locations nationwide, primarily in Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture. The shop focuses not on low price but rather making high quality senbei according to traditional methods. The shop only uses choice domestic rice and soy sauce. The shop also sells fresh-toasted senbei, a perfect snack to enjoy on the go. Particularly recommended are the close to 20 varieties of miso senbei, such as the Shinshu (Nagano) miso senbei. The shop can also make you senbei crackers with your name on them, though orders take more than a week to make.

The shop's numerous visually delightful products influenced by the unique cultural features of Obuse make for perfect gifts and souvenirs. Here you can also by Mizore, large chunks of candied chestnut, a confection which won the chairman's prize at the Kashi Hakurankai confection exhibition. The shop's original Sanada Saemonnosuke Nobushige is a tokubetsu junmai nama genshu undiluted, refined sake crafted with Miyamanishiki sake rice grown in Nagao Prefecture and Kokuyo no Mizu spring water. This sake is sold by volume from a two meter tall, 1.2 meter in diameter on-site tank. The shop also carries an abundant selection of Nagano's famous oyaki buns and soba noodles.

The shop's popular Japanese pond smelt is available in three varieties - shio (salt), shizenen (natural salt), and amakara (salty sweet); tasty as is, be sure to try them nanbanzuke and chazuke-style as well! Customers also love the simple flavor of the shop's Wakasagi Kobaini Japanse pond smelt from Lake Suwa stewed with Japanese plum extract.
