Located at 1,351 meters on Mt. Kosha’s north face, this resort features the finest powder snow made by seasonal winds blowing in from the Sea of Japan. Mt. Kosha’s summit has an ultra-advanced level course where the slope averages 35 degrees and the highest gradient is 45 degrees. This is steeper than a ski jump’s highest gradient, and as of 2017 the only other place in Japan with such a descent is Hokkaido’s Mount Racey Ski Area. Parents and kids have a great time together at the resort’s Wanpaku Course with an 800-meter sledding course and a slalom run.
