    Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort is popular among beginners and families for its safe terrain. The Kane-no-naru-oka course slopes gently down the hill and has a generous width of over 1200 meters. Skiers can also enjoy the fantastic atmosphere when the slopes are lit up during night skiing. The uma-no-se (horseback) course for advanced skiers is set on a narrow ridge with large humps continuing down the steep slope. On fine days Mt.     A ski resort which can be reached from the number two Sakudaira Parking Area on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway, making it possible to go skiing here without having to get off the expressway. Around 150 kilometers from the Nerima Interchange, the resort can almost always be reached without the need for snow chains; in addition, the resort experiences fair weather 90% of the time. The South Parada area offers sweeping views of the Yatsugatake Mountains and the Saku Plain , while the North Parada area commands a view of Mt. Asama; the two areas are connected via lift, and resort-goers can ski both areas. 80% of the resorts courses are designed for beginner and intermediate skiers, making it possible for customers to enjoy relaxing skiing along with the spectacular scenery. From spring through fall, visitors can enjoy attractions such as a super long slide and fun obstacle course.

    You can come by Shinkansen then there is shuttle bus service. Since this place within highway service area, the access by car also great. Not very big but eniugh for one day skiing.

You can enjoy trekking and mountainbike riding in spring and summer and in autumn you can go on one of the many gondola rides and see the scenery illuminated by the Mt. Yatsutagake sunrise; options include the “premium sea of clouds gondola” “fall foliage gondola” and “night gondola” rides. In addition because the ski slopes make a heart shape when viewed from the Yatsutagake observation platform onsite the area is known as a sacred lovers’ spot.

    高速道路から一番離れているのではないかと思うほど、すごーく不便なところにあるスキー場ですが、その分雪質も良く空いているので、お勧めのスキー場です。昼食は野沢菜漬けが食べ放題となっております♪これだけでもお得だと思うのは私だけではありません(笑)
