    This vast wasabi farm in Azumino spans a space equal to 11 Tokyo Domes. Entry is free and the farm is open every day year-round. In addition to wasabi fields and a processing plant, visitors can enjoy the tranquil waterside scenery, including a water mill used in a Kurosawa’s film. The farm’s shop sells unique products found nowhere else such as wasabi soft serve ice cream and wasabi-don rice bowls. If traveling by train, a 10-minute taxi ride from Hotaka Station on the JR Oito Line.

    An orchard standing along Prefectural Route 29 in Kusama, Nakano City. From June to around November, visitors can enjoy picking cherries, peaches, grapes, and apples (when in season). The orchard also has a restaurant which can accommodate groups and which serves chestnut okowa rice, Shinshu beef sukiyaki meals, and other dishes. In the orchard's fast food area, meanwhile, you can eat curry and noodle dishes. The orchard's shop sells farm-fresh produce and an abundant variety of Shinshu souvenirs.

    団体で利用し、2階で団体用のメニューで食事をしました。味は当たり障りのないものでしたが、野沢菜が絶妙な塩加減で、とても美味しかったです。

    A tourist farm which grows blueberries. The farm grows 800 blueberry plants on land as well as 2,000 in pots without the use of agricultural chemicals. The farm offers time unlimited blueberry picking and customers can also gather their harvested blueberries in a provided bag to take home. Blueberry picking is offered from mid-June to mid-October. Note that the exact date the farm opens may vary depending on weather. Visitors can also purchase potter blueberry seedlings here.

    Nagano Kamitakai-gun Obusemachi Obuse 2051
    A farm which grows cherries, huge Kyoho grapes, and chestnuts. Located not far from Obuse Station, visitors can walk here along a lush, greenery-lined road. The farm's cherry picking, offered from mid-June to mid-July, is particularly popular, and each year during this time many people, including those who have come back here again and again, visit the farm to enjoy this fun and tasty activity. The farm also sells its fruits direct, and its fresh-picked fruits are exceptionally juicy and tasty. When in season, visitors can pick six varieties of cherries; gather chestnuts, a distinctly Obuse-style activity; and pick organic, low-pesticide grapes, and the farm is a popular destination for children and adults alike.

    A fruit farm which offers reservation-only fruit picking. Depending on the season, visitors can pick strawberries, blueberries, and apples. Apple picking is offered from around mid- or late January to late June, blueberries from July to August, and apples from early to mid-November (note that the only variety of apples available is Sun Fuji).

    夏いちごというのがあると聞き、松本から白馬に抜ける際に、こちらに立ち寄り。確かにありました。いちごが!しかも夕方だったので、値下げして売られてました。迷わず購入。ちょっとすっぱみがあって夏に最適です。

    A high altitude, large temperature differences due to its location in a basin, and lots of sunny days. These factors combine to make Kiyogahara the perfect place for vineyards growing sweet but moderately acidic grapes, attracting the attention of the world's wine connoisseurs. They grow varieties including Delaware, Kyoho, and Sunny Rouge, as well as their superb Niagara grapes with thin skins and a high sugar content. They don't use any herbicides so they can produce safe, healthy, and delicious grapes. This farm takes the soil and makes it into succulent grapes.

    A five-minute drive from Shojiri Interchange on the Nagano Expressway, this tourist farm on National Route 19 has a large sign to help you find it. Shiojiri's known for its fruit, and they grow grapes in a great location looking out on the majestic Northern Alps to the west. The Southern Alps are to the east and the Kiso Mountains is to the south. They grow each bunch of grapes with love, from fruiting to harvest. The vineyard offers all-you-can-eat with no time limit. The season for grapes is from July to December. They also grow apples and pears, and there's a greenhouse so visitors can pick on rainy days, too.

    This easily accessible orchard is two minutes from the Matsukawa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. From mid-July visitors pick fruit including plums, pears, apples, grapes, and peaches. It opened in 1926 and three generations have grown fruit there. Their fruit is safe and delicious, grown with organic fertilizer and a minimum of agricultural chemicals, and no unapproved chemicals at all. The gift shop sells handmade jams and juices, as well as boiled eggs from Hirugami Onsen's morning market, a local specialty. Take a break at the covered rest area while snacking on a huge portion of Kyoho grape soft serve ice cream.

    A fruit farm located inside Kisouma no Sato in Suekawa, Kaidakogen, Kiso Town, Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. Cultivating blueberries on its vast grounds, from mid-July, visitors can enjoy blueberry picking; the farm also sells blueberry jam and other products. KAIDA FARM Farm 1 is also located near Maruyama horse-headed Kannon.

The farm is located north of the Ina Interchange on the Chuo Expressway near Oshiba Kogen Park. Here visitors can pick a variety of berries, including raspberries, blackberries, and currants. Those who go berry picking can also enjoy free scones and herbal tea, and enjoy a relaxing break in a garden after they are done picking. There's also a cafe on the farm which serves tarts, ice cream, and jams made with blueberries harvested on-site.

    A fruit farm located a 10-minute, six kilometer drive from the Shiojiri Interchange. Surrounded by the Japan Alps, the farm takes great pride in the color and flavor of its grapes grown in an environment with extreme temperature shifts. The farm harvests grapes from late August through mid-October, and apples from early September through mid-November. The farm began growing grapes in 1890 and today is known as one of the leading grape producers in the country. The farm has even won consecutive won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award. When in season, the farm offers an all-you-can-eat plan which enables you to sample around 10 different high class grape varieties.

Customers can pick fruits while taking in views of Japanese pear and apple flowers, and the surrounding majestic Central and Southern Japan Alps. A large cherry tree stands at the farms entrance. Pets are allowed. Situated in a quiet area blessed with an abundance of delicious water and clean air, the family-run farm works to preserve the local natural environment.

Expensive, first-class matsutake mushrooms are grown in Toyooka Village, as well as a variety of fruits and vegetables from the spring through the fall. Situated in southern Nagano, some of its many highlights include a waterfall basin in the Abu River valley known as ""Japan's largest pothole,"" and the three colored wisteria blossoms of the Senryuin Buddhist temple. There are tons of fun things to do here as well, such as strawberry picking and potato planting in March, as well as harvesting a variety of tasty, seasonal delights all the way until December. In addition, there are places to enjoy river activities and camping surrounded by natural beauty."

    A fruit farm situated along National Route 403. The farm takes particular pride in its use of only organic fertilizer, and in growing plum varieties which can only be found here. The farm grows six varieties of plums, including Oishi, Soldam, Gekko, Taiyo, and Akihime, and the farm's plums are so popular, they sell out shortly after they come in season. The farm's peach picking and sweet Jonathon apple picking, offered from late July, are also popular activities. The farm's shop sells juices made from a variety of fruits. Offering the kind of cozy atmosphere only a family-owned farm has, the place is a favorite destination of many local residents and area visitors as well.

    A 15-minute drive from the Suzaka-Naganohigashi Interchange. At this tourism farm, you can enjoy picking grapes and apples raised with 100% organic fertilizer and reduced agricultural chemicals. The farm grows around 20 varieties of grapes and around 10 varieties of apples. The Takabatake area where the farm is located is the oldest grape-producing region in the prefecture, with many farms cultivating and selling a variety of grapes. The adjoining shop sells a variety of agricultural products in addition to grapes and apples and can provide shipping of purchases in the area.

When in season, the farm sells five different varieties of apples as well as handmade, additive-free apple juices and jams.

    A farm situated at the foot of Mt. Shirouma where you can enjoy pesticide-free blueberry picking amidst the cool air 730 meters above sea level and while taking in the beautiful scenery of Hakuba. The farm was one of the first places in Japan to begin growing blueberries on its vast, 10,000 square meter site, having now cultivated the tasty berries for close to 30 years. There's also a shop operated directly by the farm where you can purchase its blueberries to take home and give as a souvenir or gift.
