This roadside station in Yamanashi City is located at the mouth of Nishizawa Gorge near the border with Saitama Prefecture. Known for its beautiful fall foliage, the station is visited by large numbers of mountain climbers. It also features a shop offering local specialties and other products, a restaurant, and a place for tired drivers to rest. There is even a fishing area where you can enjoy mountain stream fishing in the Nishizawa Gorge.
