This ropeway can be ridden from the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. Mt. Tenjo is said to be where the Japanese folktale, “Kachi-kachi Yama,” took place, hence the name of the ropeway. The ropeway takes three minutes to reach the top, 1,075 meters above sea level. From there, visitors can get a panoramic view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji and, on clear days, even the Japanese Southern Alps. You can descend via a hiking trail, passing by sights such as Tenjoyama Gokoku-jinja Shrine and a stone monument commemorating famed author Osamu Dazai.

Ishiwari no Yu is a hot spring facility for day use. It is located a ten-minute drive along the Higashi-Fujigoko Toll Road from the Subashiri Interchage on the Tomei Expressway. This single spring contains alkaline water with a high concentration of hydrogen ions, and it is believed to be effective against muscle soreness and nerve pain. The main building contains reclining baths, and the outdoor baths include a cedar bath and a stone bath. A sauna is also available. Visitors can rest in the lounge or rent individual rooms. They can also purchase light meals, vegetables and other local produce, and souvenirs at the various sales counters.

山中湖でのボート遊びのあと、時間があったのでスマホで調べこの温泉を知りました。山中湖平野から車で5分。温泉そのものには特徴はありませんが、汗を流し、温度の異なるいくつかの湯を楽しめる気軽に寄れる近場の温泉として、今後も利用させてもらうつもりです。

Built by Fujiwara Noritada in the year 699, this shrine is the oldest on Mt. Fuji. While it was originally built at Mt. Fuji's second station, the shrine was rebuilt multiple times by the imperial family and influential warlords due to deterioration stemming from the severe surrounding natural environment and following its destruction in eruptions. It was finally relocated to its current location in 1974 in order to preserve it. The current main shrine building, a nationally-designated important cultural property, was built in 1612 by Tokugawa clan vassal Torii Naritsugu.

Very nice. From here pilgrims used to start their climb to Mt. Fuji It is peaceful and very beautiful.

Lake Motosu is the deepest lake of the Fuji Five Lakes boasting a maximum depth of about 122 meters. The lake water is so transparent you can see an upside down Mt. Fuji like that printed on the back of the 1,000 yen note. The lake is also famous for being a place where you can see the Diamond Fuji phenomenon which is when the rising sun on the New Year’s Day aligns perfectly with the peak of Mt. Fuji. Thought to be the place where viticulture (grape cultivation) in Koshu began, this temple is also known as budo-ji (grape temple). The temple's Yakushido Hall still possesses valuable Manjusri and Vaisravana statues donated in the Edo Period by the children of Takeda Katsuyori, who had stayed there. The temple accepts reservations for ascetic practice experiences, viewings of seated meditation, and other activities.

ぶどうツアーで立ち寄りました。国宝もある昔からぶどうと縁があるお寺さんとのことです。薬師堂では住職さんが丁寧に説明してくださり勉強になりました。お庭も綺麗で見ごたえがありました。
