Located next to the Tojinbo Cliffs, a national place of scenic beauty, they serve meals made with fresh seasonal seafood delivered directly from the local Yamani Suisan fishery. In addition to seafood dishes including seafood rice bowls, sashimi set meats, and broiled seafood they offer a squid ink soft-serve ice-cream that's very popular.

    観光地の東尋坊から歩いて行けます。東尋坊は国指定名勝で天然記念物です。その東尋坊の商店街の中にあります。イカスミソフト、黒い色のソフトクリーム、目玉付きというのがユニークです。

    A cafe in Minamihonmachi 3 Chome, Mikuni-cho, Sakai City. They serve carefully blended coffee made with beans from Ishikawa Prefecture's famous Nizami Coffee shop alongside homemade cakes in locally made cups and plates. From the shop, filled with antique furniture, you can see the 300-year-old Tabunoki laurel tree from which the shop derives its name.

    旧森田銀行の向かいの建物の2階です。落ち着いた雰囲気で、地元の作家のアート作品などが並び、ちょっとしたギャラリーのようです。カップも作家さんの手作りの、暖かみのあるものでした。コーヒーも丁寧に入れられて、とても美味しかったです。

    Located in what is presently Kitahonmachi, Mikuni-cho, Sakai City, this area preserves the historical townscape of the Mikuni Minatomachi port town area that flourished with the Kitamaebune shipping trade routes that crossed the Sea of Japan during the Edo and early Meiji periods. Stroll down the streets lined with shops which sold goods from the ships and townhouses with intricate latticed doors and take in the atmosphere of times past and check out the mini Machi-no-Kura museum and Former Morita Bank Headquarters which is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

The Sake-Manjuu is still made with the same classic techniques and delivers a harmonious blend of bean paste and the taste of sake. Also popular is their Nama-Dorayaki which comes in a variety of flavors including green tea and cream cheese.

Their specialty Uguisu-mochi has over 200 years of history and is made with local mochi-rice, red beans, and soybeans as well as a special sugar that was first brought to the Mikuni Minatomachi port area via trading ships. They also sell a variety of other sweets including castella cake and sweets made with homemade red-bean paste.

    A historical building located in Kitahonmachi 4-Chome, Mikun-cho, Sakai City. The house is located in the Mikuni Minato port area which flourished in the Edo and early Meiji periods due to the Kitamaebune shipping routes which ran across the Sea of Japan. It was the former residence of the Kishina family who worked for generations as lumber dealers and used the house to distribute goods brought down to the port town along the Kazuryu River. The house is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. The house is open to the public and various materials are on display within the building.

    あわら湯のまち駅からすぐのところにある足湯。名前は「芦原温泉」と「足湯」をかけて付けられたのであろう。入場無料。源泉は2つでかけ流し。建物の外には地下90mから湧き出した約60℃のお湯が流れている。湯船は窓に面したものが3つ、舟形が1つ、円形が1つ。タオル(300円)の自販機もあるので手ぶらで訪れても楽しむことができる。

The area's hot springs are primarily earthy chloride common salt springs containing an abundance of sodium and potassium, but there are several source springs in the district and visitors can enjoy slightly differing spring properties depending on the location and facility. A pass called the Awara Onsen Yumeguri Tegata is sold at tourist information centers which include three visits to hot spring bathhouses in the district.

    カップル席(1000円 2人がけ)は、レースが見やすく、かつソフトドリンクが飲み放題なので、とてもおすすめです。競艇場はどこに行っても食べ物がおいしい、というのが持論なのですが、申し訳ないけれど、ここはあてはまりません。

    朝夕部屋食はなかなかないので小さい子ども連れにはかなり助かります。家族風呂が50分3800円くらいかかりますがかなり広いので、とても満足でした。 値段はリーズナブルでサービスはそれ相応な感じです。悪くはないです。 猛暑でエアコンなしでは暑くて、つけると弱くしても寒くなってしまい部屋の温度調節がかなり難易度高かったです。
