    A soba noodle restaurant operated by a man who has won the All Japan Famous Amateur Soba Chef Competition two years in a row. The restaurant operates out of an old private home with a charming exterior. Kenzo Soba’s juwari soba noodles, made with 100% domestic buckwheat flour, are appealingly firm and slippery. The restaurant’s specialty Kenzo soba noodles, eaten with a broth prepared with spicy daikon radish juice, create an exquisite balance between the natural flavor of the noodles and the spiciness of the daikon. The oroshi soba, topped with a mountain of grated daikon radish, is also popular. The nearest station is Matsuoka Station.

    有名店なので待ち時間を覚悟しないとダメです。何とか30分待ちで入店。おろしそば660円を食べました。美味しかったですが、少量なのであっという間に完食。この後永平寺を予定していたので、逆に良かったですが、がっつり派の方は大盛りで。

    蕎麦が美味しい。途中でゆずこしょう入れたりすると味が変わって尚良い。名物のソースとんかつ丼もあってボリューム満点。ごま豆腐もしっとりしておいしかった。

    Kosekikan Riuzen is a soba restaurant located along the Eiheiji Highway in Yoshida County, Fukui Prefecture. The restaurant carries on the soba making techniques, from throwing to cutting, that has become familiar in Eiheiji, to produce fragrant soba. The restaurants Riuzen Soba, with nameko mushrooms, grated daikon radish, grated yam with mixed with watershield, with a sesame-flavor sauce, is its flagship dish. A Shojin Ryori (Buddhist vegan) meal, featuring such dishes as Sesame Tofu, is available by reservation only. The restaurant also sells sweets, such as Soba Dango (sweet dumplings) made with pure buckwheat flour and smeared with honey and soy flour, and Riuzen Dango, made using walnut paste or sesame paste.

    永平寺近くの蕎麦屋です。 永平寺の参道近くにも沢山の蕎麦屋がありましたが、永平寺に行く途中に見つけて気になったので永平寺からの帰りに寄りました。 満席で多少待ちましたが、20分程度で入店出来ました。 2種類の味を楽しめる蕎麦を注文。 強いコシはありませんが、比較的美味しいお蕎麦でした。

    3年ほど前に訪れて蕎麦がおいしかったので、今回も同じ「おろし蕎麦」をいただきました。しかし腰がなく長時間、水に漬けて合ったような麺で、味が落ちていてがっかり。これなら近所のスーパーで売っている「越前そば」のほうが、ずっとおいしい。

Slathered in a special miso soy sauce made with wild sesame grilled over a charcoal fire, these little treats make popular snacks to enjoy while exploring the area. They are also considered lucky talismans which ward away evil and harm. The shop area sells Buddhist rosaries and other souvenirs, while you can enjoy meals such as soba noodles in the restaurant area.

    団子は美味しかったです。 しかし・・・ 団子を売ってるおばちゃん2人、最悪。 まず仏頂面で「何本?」 「5本下さい」 「パックいる?」 「ください」 そのあと代金払ってもありがとうでもなく、 すぐにみんなで食べて 「パック捨ててもらってもいいですか?」と言ったら 「要らんかったんやが。もったいない。」と言われました。 せっかくのご利益団子、嫌な気分で帰りました。

    初めて福井に旅行にいくと言ったら金沢のお友達が美味しいお蕎麦屋さんがあるからいってごらんと教えてくれた 福井駅からすまいるバスに乗って15分ぐらいでバス降りた目の前がお店でした お店の雰囲気もいいし味もボリュームもあった 天ぷらも種類たくさん入っててサクサクでとっても美味しかったです。

You can order additional toppings including wild plants, tempura, and mochi. They also offer a hearty set-meal menu and a la carte options.

    こちらは、福井銀行のすぐ隣りにあります。 はっと見、小さいお店せのようですが、奥行きが広く2階席もあり、2階席は、ゆったり広くモダンな雰囲気です。 おろし蕎麦をオーダーしました。 ほどなくして出てきました。 盛り付けは綺麗で美味しそうです。 蕎麦は普通の色・きしめんの様な太さで、コシがあり、のど越しも良くつゆは大根の甘みがあり美味しです。
