    Ishikawa Kaga-shi Iburihashimachi Ta 1-ban 8
A gallery and teahouse with a stately exterior located a six-minute drive from Kagaonsen Station. Here customers can enjoy a variety of teas in a relaxing atmosphere. Among other teas, the teahouse serves Kenjo Kaga Bocha, a tea which has even been officially presented to Emperor Showa on National Arbor Day. Made with the stems from the first tea harvest of the season, this tea is lightly roasted in order to preserve the delicate flavor. Far-infrared radiant heat is used to preventing charring of the outer surface, resulting in a refreshing, easy to drink tea with a toasty flavor. The adjoining gallery is used to display a wide variety of items by local Kaga artisans, including crafts, works of art, flower arrangements, and calligraphy.

An old-fashioned café standing at the entrance to the verdant forest of the Yamanaka Onsen hot spring resort area in Kaga, Ishikawa. Situated next to a picturesque moss-covered torii gate, the café building resembles a hideaway which has practically become one with the surrounding forest. The only item on the lunch menu is the beef stew rice set. This renowned dish is made with beef slow-stewed until its practically melting, oil-fried vegetables, and a savory sauce served over a bed of rice. The café’s handmade cakes and fresh-squeezed lemon squash juice are popular treats to enjoy after a walk in the area.

"A cafe and restaurant owned and operated by the Kasanomisaki Club dedicated to the concept of regional revitalization. Located close to Cape Kasa, renowned for its sunsets, the pride of the establishment is its cafe terrace surrounded by natural beauty. The restaurant building was once an old Japanese home that was moved here and renovated, and the interior is decorated with antiques from around Japan and the world assembled by the owner. Lunch dishes come with a soup bar, salad bar, drink bar, and a signature dessert. The restaurant's satisfying lineup of choices includes ""aka-kuro"" red and black curry, nasi goreng Indonesian fried rice, and curry made with local vegetables."

"A cafe located on the second floor of Kaga Katayamazu City Spa where you can take a relaxing break. The cafe's floor to ceiling windows provide a bright and airy atmosphere, and from the cafe's tables you can take in the seasonal natural beauty of the area as well as fireworks in the summer. In addition, here you can enjoy seasonal desserts and dishes made with an abundance of local specialty products like Neapolitan pizzas and pastas. The five layer ""Kaga Parfait"" is particularly recommended was developed under the premise of local production for local consumption with the aim of expressing Kaga City's culture of cafe hospitality. The cafe also has an outdoor terrace seating area."

Ishikawa Areas

around-area-map

Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
