A rest house located in Park Shishiku, a large leisure complex in Shishiku. The warm and friendly-looking building was built using an abundance of wood. Inside, a stage and audience seating can be found at its center. Tables which are positioned on a spiral slope surrounding the seating area are used as seating for the facility's cafe, called the 7★cafe. This cafe offers laboriously crafted curry, siphon drip coffee, soft serve ice cream, and more.

    Ishikawa Pref. Hakusanshi
A leisure zone sprawling cross some 1,800 meters of coastline. Here visitors will find playground equipment and a vast natural grass lawn comprised of Mattoh Seaside Park. The zone also encompasses a variety of facilities such as Matto Kaihin Onsen, a public hot spring bathhouse; and the Hakusan Kaido Ichiba shopping mall. Many of the facilities can be freely used by local residents, like a golf course and heated pool. The Bridge Matto, a pedestrian bridge, offers a nice view of the Sea of Japan and is a popular spot for couples. With an advance reservation, you can also barbecue here from April through November. Equipment such as grilling nets and charcoal tongs is available for rent.

Ishikawa Areas

around-area-map

Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
