    A cafe operating out of a Japanese townhouse in the Higashi Chaya District, an area with many tea houses. The table seats by the windows on the second floor offer a sweeping view of the area. The cafe interior is decorated with vivid red iron oxide painted walls with quiet touches of gold. The cafe's tableware was produced by Enishira, a company which carries gold leaf, Kaga mizuhiki cord work, and other traditional craft goods. Particularly popular menu selections include Japanese-style sweets like the cream zenzai red bean soup and the matcha powdered green tea shaved ice.

The gallery space is used to exhibit paintings, woodwork, pottery, glasswork, and other art by artists in Ishikawa Prefecture. The cafe also periodically conducts special exhibitions.     "A tea shop which sells Kaga teas. A semi-branch shop supported by the long-standing Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten tea shop in Kyoto, the current owner is the shop's third generation. The shop's most popular product is its Kaga bocha twig tea, a style of tea created in Kaga in the Meiji period. Just the stems of karigane first-grade tea are carefully prepared to create a luxurious tea. The shop also makes ""wa-kocha"" Japanese-style Western black tea using Japanese-grown tea leaves. The shop's high class tea leaves are characterized by a uniquely sweet fragrance, a result of being grown amidst the lush, natural environment of Noto. The shop has a cafe space where you can drink fresh-brewed Kaga bocha and wa-kocha."

    お茶を購入する目的でお店を探してウロウロ。蒸し暑くてだらだら歩いているとお店発見。なんと、アイスクリームやお抹茶を頂けるテーブル席が２つありました。早速休憩して注文しました。アイスクリームも美味しいし安い！お抹茶にあう夏場バージョンの羊羹も美味しく頂きました。旅の途中、お店の方と少しお話できたのも良い思い出となりました。またお伺いしますね。

    A cafe located in the Yokoyasue-cho Kanazawa Omotesando shopping arcade. The cafe's unpretentious air, resembling a corner coffee shop in Seattle, is popular with locals as well as Japanese and international tourists. The shop is owned and operated by Saul, a Seatllite who moved here with his Japanese wife. Perhaps in part thanks to the friendly disposition of Saul and his wife, the cafe serves as a communication space for customers and is always bustling. Here you can enjoy lattes, cappuccinos, and other coffees made with Curio's own original special bean blend, as well as light meals and baked sweets. The authentic Seattle espresso is particularly recommended.

    "A cafe situated on the grounds of the famous Soji-ji Temple, one of Noto's top tourist attractions. The cafe serves a vaunted in-house roasted coffee inspired by the temple; flavorful ""Monzen Soba"" noodles made with Japanese yams in the dough, a local favorite; and an array of creative, original dishes. The three varieties of ""Monzen Pasta,"" made with the aforementioned ""Monzen Soba"" noodles served pasta-style, are particularly popular. One of these, the ""Monzen Ishiru Napolitan,"" was the winner of the Wajima City-sponsored Wajimon Gourmet Contest. Many of the cafe's dishes, like the ""Monzen Curry,"" are available for takeout as well."

    総持寺の口コミに書いてしまいましたが、 敷地内にある小さなカフェ、オリジナルのコーヒー豆も販売していました。 門前そばも食べられるようでしたが、おなかがすいていなかったので、蕨餅をテイクアウト。 帰宅してから食べて、美味しくてびっくり。これが本物の蕨餅！？もう一個買ってくればよかったと思う一品でした。

    A cafe located inside the Hakukokan interactive gold leaf museum operated by Hakuichi, a long-standing company which is involved in the vaunted Kanazawa craft of gold leaf production. Floor to ceiling windows on one side give the cafe an open and airy atmosphere, and in spring customers can enjoy a view of cherry blossoms. The most popular item on the menu, dazzling soft serve ice cream boldly decorated with gold leaf, has become a celebrated symbol of Kanazawa. The cafe also serves other desserts made with seasonal fruits like anmitsu sweet beans in syrup, light meals such as omelet rice made with a homemade tomato sauce, and local liquors and beers.
