They have a library with over ten thousand picture books from both Japan and foreign countries (book borrowing is not allowed), as well as a kid's garden in which you can relax and read a book, a gallery with picture book illustrations on display, a cafe, and a shop with recommended books for sale. There's also a theater and performance hall which are used for a variety of presentations and activities as well as a workshop for making handicrafts and picture books.
