- Tonami Tulip Park is a park located on National Route 359 in Hanazono Town, Tonami City. Around three million tulips of 700 different varieties are grown here each year; the Tonami Tulip Fair, which is held in spring each year, is a major attraction. Interesting sights inside the Park include the Tulip Tower, which has become a symbol of the Park, the Tulip Gallery, where visitors can view displays about tulips, etc., and the Waterwheel Garden, which features the five largest waterwheels in Japan.

- Toyama Tonami-shi Shogawamachi Kanaya 1550
- This park is located about a 15-minute drive from Tonami Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. It features a number of facilities where visitors can learn about the area's history and traditions while surrounded by its nature. These include the Shogawa Wood Plaza, the Tokusankan, the Shogawa Memorial Museum of Sotojiro Matsumura, and more. The Shogawa Wood Plaza, which sells souvenirs, local specialties, and other items, features free foot baths. Its yuzu citrus soft-serve ice cream, a local specialty, is also popular. The Tokusankan, which is symbolized by a massive water fountain that shoots water 35 meters into the air, exhibits and sells works of Shogawa turnery, a traditional woodcraft of the region.

At 1.18 million square meters, it is the largest park in Toyama Prefecture. The train used to move around the park in particular is one of its biggest symbols. Styled after a steam locomotive, the train is popular with children.

Toyama Areas
Toyama is one of the three prefectures that house the Japanese Alps, with its southern and eastern borders comprising one long stretch of mountains, out of which the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is forged. While traditional crafts fill the northern coastal cities of Toyama and Takaoka, thatched roof houses offer unrivalled views against a backdrop of fantastic scenery at Gokayama in the mountainous area in the south of the prefecture.
