This hot springs spa adjacent to the roadside station Kamonpa-Ku Shinminato is a 20 -minute bus ride from JR Kosugi Station via the Kitokito Bus (Imizu City Community Bus) Shinminato-Kosugi Line. The baths open in the morning at 5:00 a.m. and close at 11:45 p.m. at night. The spa's 50 degree centigrade hot spring water, sourced from 1,200 meters below ground, has unusually high hypertonicity, meaning it is easily absorbed by the body. It warms the body to the core and is believed to help with nerve pain, poor blood circulation, and chronic women's diseases. The spa's restaurant features relaxed tatami-style seating. Its zarusoba (chilled soba noodles served on a bamboo strainer) and soy milk soft-serve ice cream are popular choices. The spa also offers packages for girls' nights out that allow you to enjoy the hot springs without having to bring anything.

This merchant's house was designated an Important Cultural Asset in 1994 as the best of Takaoka's earthen-walled townhouses in terms of scale, quality, and level of preservation. The walls are finished with black plaster, and the second floor has a set of double doors. The roof has a boxed ridge, as well, and all of these are hallmarks of Takaoka earthen-walled town house construction. The Sugano family built a vast family fortune from the beginning of the Meiji period when the fifth generation head, Denemon, began trading on routes to Hokkaido.

This bath spot mixes hospitality and familiarity. The crystal clear hot spring water type is mildly alkaline, and is said to be effective for muscle soreness, nerve pain, frozen shoulders, and joint pain. The first floor also holds a tourist information office, foot bath, and drinking spring, and has become a symbol of the town of Unazuki. They also sell face towels, toothbrushes, mini-soap, and brushes for use in the bath.

A temple in Johana, Nanto. It was founded in 1471 by Rennyo Shonin, the eighth head priest of Hongan-ji Temple. The main hall which is reconstructed in 1759, the main gate, and the bell tower have all been designated Cultural Properties of Toyama Prefecture. During the Mushiboshi Buddhist Service which starts on July 22, a portion of their treasured items from their collection which numbers over ten thousand items is put out on public display for a week.

This museum is a 45-minute drive from JR Toyama Station. Located inside Ashikura Temple at the foot of Mt. Tateyama, the museum conducts and exhibits the results of comprehensive academic research into the relationship between the natural environment and people of Tateyama. The museum's massive 13-hectare grounds are divided into three zones; Kyokai (World of Teachings), Seikai (World of Holiness), and Yukai (World of Play). Each zone features a number of different facilities, including the Tenjikan Exhibit Hall and the Yobokan Hall. The museum's exhibits also include a bronze statue of Sakra designated as an important cultural property and a collection of items related the Tateyama faith designated as important tangible folk cultural property.

This multipurpose hall and tourist center is a one-minute walk from Iwasehama Station, the last stop on the Toyama Light Rail Portram. The hall offers a tourist information center and rental cycles, making it an optimal place to start a day exploring Iwase. It is also the location of one of the boat docks of the Fugan Suijo Line. Enjoy the comfortable breeze and the views of Fugan Canal from the deck of one of the line's passenger boats. Inside the hall there is a seafood restaurant popular for pizza and pasta made with lavish amounts of seafood. Toyama Takaoka-shi Konmadashimachi 26

This manor belonged to the Murosaki family, one of Takaoka's leading merchants and dealers in cotton yarn and fabrics up to 1945, and is now opened to the public by the city as a museum. The Yama-cho Suji street is lined with machiya townhouses that bring out the particular characteristics of earthen-walled buildings. You can take a full tour of the main building. There are also displays related to the history of Takaoka's town building, and earthen-walled construction.

このいえのこと、伊藤博文と関わりがあったこと、家の作りのこと、お祭りのこと、北前船のことたくさんの話を聞けました。時間があまりなかったのですが一時間ほどがあっという間でした。中に入って暮らしぶりを見た方がいいと思います。

Toyama Kurobe-shi Unazuki Onsen 6-3

The art museum is found in a facility opened in opened in 1993 Unazuki Onsen, the gateway to Kurobe gorge. They commissioned works from seven representatives of Japan's modern Nihonga art world, and now with passionate cooperation from these artists there are 27 works based around Kurobe Gorge, a topic not handled before this museum opened. There are also 34 sketches and drafts on display as well. Some part of the permanent exhibit is rotated regularly.

黒部宇奈月温泉駅の前にできたプチ美術館ですね。「黒部峡谷の大自然を絵画芸術を通して未来へ伝える」ことを基本理念として趣旨に賛同した平山郁夫はじめ7名の日本画家が美術館と協力して作品の創作に取り組んでおり素晴らしい作品が集合しています。一見の価値ありですね。

This shrine is a 10-minute walk from Toyama Chihou Railway Iwakuraji Station and a 15-minute drive from either Tateyama Interchange. or Toyama Interchange. Oyama Shrine is comprised of three different shrines; Minehonsha (the main shrine), Kiganden, and Maedateshadan. This shrine, Maedateshadan, is the closest of the three to the lowland. It gets its name from the fact that it stands in front of Mt. Tateyama. Every autumn, the shrine hosts the Tateyama Fire Festival where anyone can try walking across a bed of burning coals on their bare feet.

立山登山の帰りに利用しました。立山グリーンパーク吉峰は広い敷地に多くの施設があり、温泉ゆーらんどへは道を尋ねて辿り着きました。コロナ禍でマスクはマストですが、泉質は良く、肌スベスベになります。土日でも来客は少なくゆっくりくつろげます。全体的にぬるめの温度に設定しているので、長時間つかれます。

This botanical garden is a 15-minute walk from JR Tonami Station. This is the only facility in the world where tulips bloom year-round. In their Wonder Garden, you can see every stage of tulip growth, from budding through to blooming. Inside of the Tulip Palace, a tower-shaped work of art that displays cut flowers in a 3.7 meter-tall wall of curved glass, visitors can enjoy the curious sensation of being surrounded by 500 tulips.

チューリップの時期には訪問できませんでしたが素敵な場所でした！！常設展や、企画展は興味深いものでしたね。カフェでゆっくりお茶もできますよ！！

The Toyama Municipal Folkcraft Village is a complex dedicated to history and culture, located at the foot of Mt. Kureha in Toyama Prefecture. A Folk Art Museum, with displays of folk handicrafts, was opened on the site in 1965. Subsequently, additional museums were opened, including a Museum of Archeology displaying archeological finds, etc., the Museum of Medicine Peddlers, telling the story of the Toyama region’s itinerant medicine vendors, etc.; today, the Village comprises a total of seven museums and two other facilities. The Museum of Ceramic Art and the Clay Dolls Studio offer experiential activities where visitors can try their hand at decorating bowls or clay dolls. Each of the museums offers plenty to see, and the opportunity to learn more about the lives of past generations.

This seafood market located close to Toyama Prefecture's leading fishing port Shinminato Fishing Port, is approximately a 10-minute walk from Shinminato Station on the Manyo Line. Including glass shrimp admired as the gems of Toyama Bay, snow crab and firefly squid, it offers plenty of fresh seafood just caught at Shinminato Fishing Port. At the seafood restaurant Kittokito-Tei, you can enjoy seafood dishes abundantly using seasonal ingredients with views of Shinminato Bridge. Their filling set meal filled with glass shrimp is particularly recommended.

The complex consists of an outdoor health facility with an exercise course and putting course; a life sciences museum where you can learn about health; and the Toyama Prefectural Itai-Itai Disease Museum, which looks at itai-itai disease, one of the four major pollution-induced diseases which have occurred in Japan. This ancient shrine is believed to date back to 747. It venerates the Emperor Ojin, and enshrines the Emperor Nintoku. It is still revered as a local shrine to this day. The shrine grounds hold monuments engraved with poems from Otomo no Yakamochi, and from Basho.

住宅は並ぶ中にある、大きな神社。山車や築山のお祭りに関する説明書きが随所に設けられていて、読んでいるうちに、是非とも本番のお祭り（毎年10月？）を観たいと思った。うす暗くなっても境内がライトアップされて綺麗・安心だった。

Adjacent to the eastern part of Tulip Park, this art museum is part of the Tonami City Culture Zone. The Temporary Exhibition hall can accept large scale exhibits; the Permanent Exhibit hall displays the art museum's collection of works by local artists, world photographic art, and outstanding Japanese craftwork; and the Citizen's Gallery exhibits a wide variety of amateur works. On weekends, they have a variety of temporary exhibitions, workshops, and lectures.

チューリップフェアに出かけると必ず寄ります。展示物も好いですが、晴れて雲のない日の立山連峰の景色がみごとです。今年から花の大谷も駐車場に移動していました。
