    "Shirakaba Heights is a hot spring and lodging facility in the Kameya Onsen in the foothills of Tateyama Mountains. An on-call shuttle bus takes visitors from Airmineguchi Station on the Toyama Chihou Railway in the city of Toyama, Toyama Prefecture. The water is said to be effective against lifestyle-related disease, and as a simple sulfur spring, it is good for alleviating nerve pain and rheumatism. The bathhouse includes an outdoor bath and sauna and a cold-water bath that uses 100% spring water. Day visitors may make use of the so-called ""Refresh Plan,"" which includes time in an individual room. Those who spend the night enjoy multicourse meals that feature both seafood and the products of the surrounding land. Shirakaba Heights also hosts banquets and provides conference rooms."

    I have been visiting this onsen regualarly for 7 years. I love its old-style atmosphere and beautiful waters. The outlook is lovely, into the mountains. You can get typical Japanese food here also...

The mineral ion ore artificial hot spring, radium ore artificial hot spring (outdoor bath), and bedrock bath can all be used on day trips. On clear days, you can watch the sun rise over the distant Tateyama Mountain Range. You can ask for information on sunrise times and Tateyama mountain viewing.

    雪が降る中、宿泊客も少なく、静かな環境でゆっくりと温泉を満喫できました。 食事はどれも美味しく、量もたっぷりだったので、夕食の最後のご飯は食べられないくらいでした。 大浴場脇で売っていた高知県産のアイスクリームも美味しくてお風呂上りの度に4種類もいただきました。スタッフの方々も皆とても感じが良く気持ちの良い滞在となりました。

    欅平から水平道を歩いて４時間程度で到着します。 今回はテントで宿泊しました。テントサイトはあまり広くありませんが、 水場、トイレが近くにあります。小屋もちょっと歩きますが苦にならない程度の距離でした。 温泉もあって１時間ごとに男女が入れ替わりとなっていました。 訪れた際には、ぜひお風呂を堪能ください。

    雲の平小屋-太郎平小屋の中間にある。 黒部源流部に建ち、ロケーションの素晴らしい山小屋でした。 沢水は綺麗で透き通っており、小屋の目の前で岩魚が釣れるそうです。

    テントサイト利用しました。時期柄か他に誰も居なく、炊事場とトイレと利用でき快適でした。夜は熊が出ないか少し怖かったです。

    日曜日泊だったせいか、他のお客はいなくて完全貸切状態。日帰り入浴施設にもなっているので、こちらはそこそこ。温泉を楽しむ目的の人にはお勧めできません。夜は７時で終わり。朝は９時から。露天無し。 食事はおそらく外部発注。冷めたものが出てきた。 宿のスタッフは親切でとても感じがいい。
