This brewery is managed by Tamagawa Sake Brewery, a company well-known for its Uonuma Tamafumi and Koshino Tamaume sake. It was founded in 1673, and has continued to create Japanese sake since the time of Tokugawa Ietsuna. Visitors can tour the brewery, and through the course of the 15-minute tour, can see places such as the snow warehouse, the place where steaming of the brewer's rice takes place and the storehouse. During the tour, visitors can drink the spring water that is used during the process and if they bring a bottle, can take it home with them. Finally, there is a free tasting session, where visitors can enjoy more than ten different kinds of Japanese sake, and depending on the date they visit, may even be able to enjoy some freshly-made sake. The Yukikura Pickles (homemade sake pickles) and sake cakes which are available for purchase make wonderful gifts.

    Nigata Pref. Minamiuonumashi Urasa 5531-1
This winery in Minamiuonuma City has been making wine with skills cultivated in Bordeaux, France and grapes cultivated by Minamiuonuma's climate for over 40 years. Its wines are highly praised by wine professionals for their quality. The winery ages their wines in rooms chilled with natural snow. As they put it, their unique wines are cultivated, protected, and brewed by the snow. The winery's shop offers a selection of their wines, including their snow-aged wine sekki and wine-related items, as well as free wine tastings. The shop's restaurant serves cuisine made with fresh local ingredients as well as their wines.
