Kanagawa Pref. Sagamiharashi Midori-ku Magino 4819
This hands-on experience workshop surrounded in lush green is in Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa. Here, one can enjoy workshops for pottery, woodworking, or glass making, from specialists who are on-site at all times. It has a music studio and a recreation hall and four-person and eight-person rooms available for overnight stays. Many groups enjoy barbecue and grilling on day trips to the campsite, which is open from April through October.

Kanagawa Areas

around-area-map

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
