    Opened in 2012, this strawberry farm is located in Hadano City. Inside the spacious greenhouses different kinds strawberries are grown, such as yayoihime and benihoppe varieties. This farm uses elevated beds so you can pick strawberries without crouching, and the aisles are wide enough for strollers or wheelchairs. One can also request unscheduled shipping for gifting strawberries.

From mid-June to mid-August, you can also try your hand at picking a wide variety of blueberries.

It has about 900 blueberry bushes, primarily of the Spartan variety. The extended harvest period lasts from early June to early September. They also produce and sell grafted seedlings.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
