    Located in Kanumadai in Sagamihara City, this park is famous for its various vehicles of transportation. It offers go-cars, mini cars and bicycles for rent for free. Equipped with traffic light signals, and crosswalks, it is a good place for children to learn traffic safety. The pond in the middle of the park is a favorite resting spot for the local residents. There they can watch the white swans, turtles, and carp.

The Elephant Market, bustling with pop-up shop tents, is held each month on the 4th Saturday and Sunday.

    You can reach this park by taking a Kanachu bus from Hashimoto Station in Sagamihara City, Kangawa Prefecture to either the Shiroyama Koko-mae or Tsukuiko Kanko Center stops. Located on both sides of the Shiroyama Dam, the park includes the site of Tsukui Castle and is divided into areas that include their Flower Garden and Water Garden. The colorful flowerbeds and an archaeological exhibition at the castle site compliment the grand natural surroundings. The park hosts a craft making program using natural materials collected on the premises. There is also a barbecue area and they have a plan that includes the ingredients you'll need.

    Vacance Mura is a campground with recreational facilities located along the Doshigawa River in the town of Fujino in the city of Sagamihara. A roofed barbecue area lies along the river, and visitors can barbecue the rainbow trout they have fished for or the fish they have caught by hand. Charcoal and food are for sale by appointment, and the fishing experience here is recommended even for beginners.     This science center is located in 1-Chome, Suigotana, Chuo Ward, Sagamihara City. They have exhibits focusing mainly on wildlife living in the Sagami River area. It features a “River Zone” centered around river fish, a “Life Zone” which has exhibits of rare lifeforms including amphibians and Tokyo bitterling which is designated as nationally protected species, and a “People Zone” which describes the interactions between people and the river through panels. Also, you can experience offering food to river fish on any day.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo's most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
