A sea cave on the southern tip of Jogashima Island created by the power of nature offset with the vastness of the Pacific Ocean is a sight to behold. The site can be located by foot from Jogashima Park located on the eastern side of the island.

城ヶ島の駐車場脇から遊歩道を歩いた先の岩場にありました。岩場に降りる階段は狭いので、犬同伴の人は抱き抱えて降りた方が、他の人に迷惑をかけません。正面から眺めるだけでなく、裏側からも眺めることができました。岩場と浜はゴツゴツ感が少なく、犬でも比較的歩きやすかった。

Due to the danger of falling rocks, visitors may not walk onto the cape itself, but they can enjoy a superb view from the parking area. During the summer, swimmers flock to the Ohama Beach resort.

Kanagawa Areas
Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
