    Surrounded by a citizens' forest and parks, this shopping mall is situated along Loop Road No. 2 and is also right in front of the Tressa Yokohama bus stop. The mall is split into north and south buildings divided by a road. Occupied by 220 establishments, the mall also has a 2,700-space parking lot which is free to use every day of the week. The mall sports an atmosphere reminiscent of France's Lyon, one of Yokohama's sister cities. Visitors can shop in the central Auto Mall area and in a variety of stores, and also enjoy a meal in the mall's food court. In addition, the mall holds a variety of events.

    A shopping mall connected directly to and just a three minute walk from Yokohama Station. The fashionable building faces the sea and is designed to look like a cruise ship. Here you can go shopping or have a bite to eat while enjoying a sea breeze. The facility is also famous for its fabulous views at night. Bay Quarter hosts around 100 establishments, including fashionable clothing and interior decoration shops, restaurants, and cafes. The cafes, featuring outdoor terrace seating overlooking Yokohama Port, are particularly popular. There’s also a SeaBus boarding area, and you can hope on one to enjoy the sights of Minato Mirai from on the ocean waters as well.

    Located a one-minute walk from Tama-Plaza Station, this is the smallest of the four areas which make up the Tama Plaza Terrace mall just to the left of the station's central ticket gate main entrance. The area can be reached by crossing the Link Bridge from the central Gate Plaza area. Consisting of four floors, a 100-yen shop, a coffee shop, a bank, and an acupuncture and moxibustion clinic can be found on floors one and two; an elderly daycare service and clinic are on floor three; and a nursery school is on floor four. The area is filled with establishments of relevance to the daily lives of area residents.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
