A café located in Yamate, Yokohama. Built in 1927, the café building is a rare example of the Western architecture employed in the former foreigner residential area. The first floor is a café, while the second floor is a sweet shop and private dining room accommodating up to 6. The shop area sells chocolate assortments and other items perfect for giving as a gift. The most popular menu item on offer is the rare cheese cake, baked according to the same recipe since Enokitei first opened.

The cafe carries a variety of tea leaves, including its own original blends; the daily service tea is particularly recommended and consists of a royal milk tea whose flavor is changed daily. Customers can also enjoy light foods such as cakes, French toast, and scones; and ""yoshoku"" Japanese-style Western food like spaghetti and omelet rice. In addition, the cafe offers a daily lunch special, ensuring there's always something new to enjoy here every time you come."

The café also has a large drink menu, including teas, coffee, and alcoholic beverages.

Kanagawa Areas

around-area-map

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
