    Akarenga Depot is a new souvenir shop situated in a red brick warehouse which was symbolic as an entrance to Japan and was built in 1913. Its concept is to collect and disseminate the assets of Yokohama. It has a retro Yokohama theme, and you can select goods filled with the charm of a somewhat nostalgic but modern Yokohama. It is about ten minutes’ walk from Bashamichi Station or Nihon-odori Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.

    中華街のメインストリートにある、高級中華料理店です。クリスマスの飾りつけと二胡のライブ演奏を楽しみながら、楽しく食事ができました。海鮮料理が大好きなので、海鮮焼きそばやイカを材料にした料理、春巻き、シュウマイなどをオーダー。どの料理も日本人の口によく合うように、味付けされていて文句なしの調理。二胡の演奏を聴きながらワインと中華料理を心ゆくまで楽しめました。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
