    Located in Yugawara, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture, the Kyotaro Nishimura Memorial Museum features exhibits related to the mystery writer Kyotaro Nishimura, including his private collection, and rough drafts and published versions of his more than 300 books. Nearly every Sunday, Nishimura himself comes to the museum to sign autographs, although he occasionally misses a week. Visitors can also buy autographed copies of Nishimura's works in the shop on the second floor.

    The Jiro Osaragi Memorial Museum is a literary museum located in Naka Ward in Yokohama that contains a collection of Osaragi's books and personal effects. Adjacent to Minatonomieruoka Park, the museum is a distinctive Western-style red brick building with an arched roof. In addition to literary artifacts, the museum also contains Osaragi's collection of cat figurines and other items decorated with cat motifs, reflecting his fondness for cats.

    こちらは、港が見えるが丘公園に隣にある記念館です。 「鞍馬天狗」シリーズの生みの親で作家人生を紹介する文学館だそうです。 今回、記念館は訪問しないで周りのイングリッシュローズガーデンが素晴らしかったです。

    This historical building is located in 2-Chome, Okurayama, Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City. It was constructed in 1932 as the main building for “Okura Institute for the Study of Spiritual Culture” by businessman, Kunihiko Okura, who served as president of Toyo University. The design is unique, adopting Eastern design in the pre-ancient Greece Western form. Currently, as a cultural facility, its halls, galleries and meeting rooms can be used, and it hosts events such as the “Okurayama Fall Arts Festival“. It is also commonly used for on-location shooting.

    This is a memorial hall built in 1988 next to the site of the Ninomiya Sontoku's residence of birth. In this building with 1 basement floor and 3 top floors, are exhibited various documents and treasured items from the life and works of Sontoku. With an auditorium, lodging accommodations, and a library, the building is commonly used for instructional and social education events. Every year in October the Sontoku Festival is held at which local produce is sold, and musical recitals of the drum and Japanese koto are performed and open instructional workshop, the Hotokujuku, are also offered.

    This museum is located in the center of Yamashita Park a 12-minute walk from Ishikawacho Station and 15 minutes from Motomachi-Chukagai Station. The park is also located next to the Yamatecho bus stop and the Mugitacho bus stop. In 1876, tennis was introduced to Yokohama and it is believed that the first tennis match ever in Japan was held here after a tennis court was built in the park. Accordingly, it is seen as the birthplace of tennis in Japan, and inside the museum visitors can see 100-year-old tennis rackets as well as exhibits which reveal the changes in rackets and tennis wear throughout the years.

He was known as the ""Father of Constitutional Government"" and the hall seeks to educate the public about him.     こちらは、横須賀駅の目の前にあるこじんまりとした館です。 横須賀製鉄所をつくりあげたフランス人技師ヴェルニーの功績と、横須賀製鉄所の意義を永く後世に伝えるために建てられた施設だそうです。 記念館は無料で入ることができ、国の重要文化財に指定されている、現物のスチームハンマー(動力に蒸気を使用してハンマーを持ち上げ、落下する力で金属素材を加工する工作機械)は圧巻です。

    知らなければたどり着かない立地。 作品も楽しめますが、お宅拝見要素もいい。 数寄屋造りの邸宅をじっくり拝見するチャンスでもあります。 少し細い廊下を抜けた先には画室。全面ガラス張りで光あふれる画質だなんて羨ましいことこの上ないです。 別館は2014年に立て替えられた新しいものですが、二階に上がると少し遠くが望めますので是非。

    興味あり寄りたかったのですが、残念ながらウィルス対策の影響で休館中でした。昭和59年に50周年で県にて設置されたので、成熟した施設であると期待されます。イベントも多く、平成30年度は来場者数年間4万人を目標としていたようです。達成され効果はあったのでしょうか?

    奥湯河原の奥、急な坂道の途中に静かに佇んでいて、一瞬見落としてしまいました。資料館というより、本当に別荘を訪ねた雰囲気でそこに生活しているのを感じました。 数々の写真や遺品、文書。そしてミズーリ船上の降伏調印にも臨んだ義足には、歴史の証人として今に訴えているようで胸が熱くなりました。 最初に1時間ほどビデオがあり、激動の時代を奔走した生きざまや功績を知ることが出来、良かったです。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
