- Nakamuraya Yokan is a traditional Japanese confectionary founded in Enoshima in 1902. Amongst their many sweets they are most known for their Famous Enoshima Original Nori Youkan (sweet bean jelly). Their amazing sweets showcases a unique blend of white bean jelly and nori took the top rank Honorary President's Award at the 22nd National Confectionary Exhibition in Mie. They are recognized as official Fujisawa tourist goods and are endorsed country wide as wonderful souvenirs.

お店の名前のとおり芋を使ったお菓子などがいろいろ売られていました。紫芋ソフトクリームなど有名なようですが、冬だったので、紫芋コロッケを注文しました。中は本当に紫色になっていておいしかったです。食べ歩きにもちょうどよい感じでした。

鎌倉 長谷の由比ガ浜通りにお店があります。おしゃれなお店におしゃれなチョコレートがいっぱい並んでいます。チョコレートの高級店です。大切な人へのプレゼント、自分へのご褒美への高級なチョコレートとしてピッタリです。鎌倉駅の中心街からはちょっと離れていますけど、その分、落ち着いて買い物ができます。僕のチョコレートの隠れ家です。

外側は柔らかい生地ではなく密な舌触りで、故に中にたっぷりと詰め込まれた漉し餡の重さをしっかり支えています。それでいて平な形に抑えてあるので重すぎず、もう一個ほしくなります。重厚さと軽さのバランスの良さを吉田首相も気に入られたのでしょうか？昔の政治家はそうであったように。

生キャラメルテイスティングが一日何回か１５名限定で行われています。ちょうど会う時間で１組しか並んでなくて、参加。１１０円ですが、店内の商品を購入したら生キャラメルテイスティング代金が無料。お得です。今回は塩味のピンクソルト。砂時計で時間が来たらたべます。コロナ対策で間隔をとって入店させていて、対応きちんとされてました。もちろん食べた後はキャラメルかってかえりました。

- This longstanding Japanese confectionary shop, located a one-minute walk from Keikyu Yokosuka-chuo Station, was established in 1891 and sells an array of traditional Yokosuka confections. The shop's signature Kadonashi Sazae Monaka light brown wafer cakes, inspired by a legend about the great Buddhist priest Nichiren, come in three varieties - tsubuan chunky bean paste filling, pink koshian smooth bean paste filling, and white yuzu citrus filling. Each is an exquisite, flavorful treat that is not overly sweet, and these wafer cakes have been designated an Excellent Sweet by Kanagawa Prefecture. Other popular products include the baked Mont Blanc, a delightfully moist confection redolent with the aroma of astringent chestnut skin; and dorayaki pancake sandwiches stuffed with butter cream.

- Approximately a four-minute walk from Uminokoen Shibaguchi Station, this bakery is located just outside the Shibamachi bus stop and is marked by its yellow exterior walls. It is open from 7 a.m., and since it is located right in front of Shiba Fishing Port, bread made with horse mackerel and hairtail are featured for sale. Hakkei ampan (a bun filled with sweet red bean paste), available in two types of sweet bean paste: mashed bean paste and smooth bean paste, is also recommended as a souvenir. The most popular item is the special curry bread featuring a crispy dough filled with homemade curry.

- This school cafeteria, which is also open to the general public, is located on the second floor of Building 10 on Kanagawa University's Yokohama Campus a 13-minute walk from Hakuraku Station and Higashi-hakuraku Station. The cafeteria is also close to the Kanagawa daigaku iriguchi and Rokkakubashi nishicho bus stops. Of the four cafeterias on campus, this one is the largest. The cafeteria is dedicated to the concept of local production for local consumption, and its burdock salad made with fresh-picked vegetables is highly popular. Note that the cafeteria's hours are different on Saturdays.

The shop sells a variety of standard cakes and baked sweets, such as its signature financiers, which were awarded a Guinness World Record four years running for numbers sold; aromatic sesame Florentines; and delightful sables. You can also order a cake with a message plate for events such as birthdays and anniversaries.

- This Japanese confectionary shop is a three-minute walk from Kannai Station and can be reached by heading southwest on Isezakicho-dori Street at the intersection with Shin-yokohama-dori Avenue. The longstanding shop was established in Nagasaki in 1900. The shop is extremely famous for its distinctive television commercials and the fact that it officially provided confections to the Department of the Imperial Household during the Taisho period (1912-1926). Particularly recommended are the Gokujo Kin Castella cakes, which are made with twice the amount of eggs as normal. The shop also sells decorated castella cakes, including Christmas and other seasonal designs. The shop sells a variety of renowned sweets in addition to its staple castella, such as Yokohama Kaika Sable cookies.
Kanagawa Areas
Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
