A souvenir shop just outside the main entrance to the Hakone-Yumoto Station along the Hakone Tozan Railway line. Alongside their original Mackerel-Mirin cooking rice wine they also offer a varied selection of other foodstuffs including dried fish, local sake and liquors, Odawara's specialty kamaboko fish paste sausages, and more. They also have a selection of traditional Hakone tourism souvenirs including Hakone's traditional Yosegi wood mosaic handicraft pieces and Hanjuku-Bakudan (Soft-boiled Explosion), a soft-boiled egg wrapped in kamaboko fish paste. For over 30 years they've operated as a souvenir shop acting as a gateway to Hakone and offering a variety of goods to help you remember your trip.

This is a French confectionery and chocolate shop on Wakamiya-oji Street, a three-minute walk from Kamakura Station’s East Exit. The sweets lined up inside take the cute shapes of fish and shellfish, inspired by the Shonan sea. Popular as a souvenir, the chocolate is made from carefully selected cacao beans and contains no artificial flavors or colors. It was produced by Numata Genki, an artist who is a photographer and poet. Besides Japan’s traditional kokeshi dolls and Russian matroshka dolls, they also feature unique, original products such as kokeshka, painted by Japanese kokeshi artistans in the same area that produces Russian matryoshka dolls.

This is a taiyaki (fish-shaped pancake filled with bean jam) shop located along Yuigahama Odori, about three minutes on foot from Enoshima Dentetsu’s Yuigahama Station. Not only do they offer taiyaki made with carefully crafted honey-baked tsubuan (coarse red bean paste) and fresh, velvety smooth koshian (fine-grained sweet bean paste), they also have a full lineup of other items including natural yeast bread, yakisoba, and grilled piroshky. This specialty shop for kamaboko (seasoned fish paste) prepares minced fish only from carefully selected high quality portions of fresh white-fleshed “guchi” fish that are low in fat.
