    This stadium is famous in part as the home stadium of the Yokohama F. Marinos soccer team. The 2002 FIFA World Cup final game was also held here. One of the stadium’s distinctive features is its dedication to maintaining the natural lawn field in perfect condition throughout the year. The stadium is also one of the largest in Japan, seating up to 72,327. The stadium was designed with a variety of features to make it easier for spectators and athletes to feel a sense of unity. In addition to sporting events, the stadium also holds tours of its lawn. A food court and shops are also located in the facility.

    Located a three minute walk from Yokohama Municipal Subway Kannai Station or Nihon-Odori Station on the Minatomirai Line. Situated in Yokohama Park a short walk from Kannai Station on the JR Negishi Line, the stadium is also an outdoor baseball field for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. In addition to professional and amateur baseball and American football games, the stadium is also used as a venue for concerts. The stadium hosts a variety of food stands as well. The mikan ice, shave ice topped with mikan mandarin oranges and covered with a sweet and sour sauce, is particularly popular in summer.

    鈴木雅之のコンサートで行った。やはり駅から遠い。徒歩15〜20分。行きはタクシー ９００円ぐらい。帰りは 周りにタクシーいなく、徒歩でした。近くには、あまり食べるところはなく、駅近くで食べるのが間違いない。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo's most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
